I will start this review by mentioning how confusing and challenging it was to find this building. There are so many medical buildings in this area so maybe leave some extra time to find your way. Heads up as well-the elevator is super slow. There are several offices in this building so it might take you a while to find the correct one. When I arrived, I was the only patient in the waiting room. It was tiny but very clean. I waited probably about 20 minutes before my name was called. I was led by a nurse to get weighed, bp checked, and information gathered. I didn't catch her name but she was really personable and friendly. I cannot remember which physician I was there to see but it was for my diabetes. I have gone through so many endocrinologists since moving down to FL because I cannot find one that matches my standards. I originally wanted to go to the Davie location in the Atrium but at the time, the endo did not see patients there. It was a male physician I saw, who was good and knowledgeable but I felt like I was not heard. It was not the worst experience I had with a doctor but following the appointment is what really upset me. I had to keep calling because the administration screwed up my doses, medication, supplies, and quantities repeatedly. I've been waiting for my doctors appointment for months and I just got a call a week before the appointment that they are cancelling it and need to move it. The next available appointment they could offer me was at the end of the month when my original appointment was the first week of the month. While on the phone I asked the worker if they could just please call me back after 4pm because i'm at work right now and we have a no phone policy. I have been a patient for about 8 years. Today, I was informed I am not welcome as a patient anymore. Frankly, I am hurt and disappointed. I had complained about the Referral Department recently for giving me referrals for a doctor I haven't seen in years and a hospital that does not accept my insurance. I haven't felt well in 5 months and being given the wrong referrals contribute to my ill health. Dropping me as a patient does not make the practice professionally desirable. Facing the problems in the referral department would be the right place to start. A few years ago they were a smaller practice and now they seem perhaps, too big. From start to finish, this was a pleasant experience. The desk staff were welcoming and friendly, and Dr. Nicophene is the kind of doctor you hope for. Friendly, compassionate, thorough, and she truly listens to what you have to say. I was apprehensive about going to a group, like this, but pleasantly surprise at the experience. I just wanna let you know Associates MD really suck they discharge my mom she's 84 years old now and she has cancer and they discharged her because she only missed two appointments one because she was in the hospital and the other one they fucked up because Transportation wasn't on time this is how we treat our elderly I hope they get old and see how they like it when they are treated the way they treated my mom when they get really old so that's why my mom still has cancer treatment and she can't go because Associates MD won't write a letter to Health Sun to release my mom very good. Very happy here I like that I don't have to wait mush and the staff are very welcoming and helpful . I usually see the pa dr Jeff and he is very nice and knowledgeable. I am sorry my insurance is no longer going to be taken here . I have FLA blue but apparently this insurance pays really bad so they are dropping it . Parking is hard here but since the pandemic they are working to half the capacity. read more

This is like pediatric associates they act like children and don't care about their patients. It's very selective here I've noticed and the staff they have working answering phones should be fired. No one is ever on the same page, their policies change daily, their doctors are always calling out or handling emergencies like every day. Never again. Better off looking for a doctor that is independent than working with this group. read more

There is no caregiving at associates MD in plantation first of all they have only a couple of doctors and mostly nurses practicing nurses I believe. Failed to recognize a serious disease I had a life-threatening disease, you have to wait sometimes up to an hour or two hours to see anyone. They shuffle you from One waiting room to the other and then into the doctor's waiting room and then you wait some more in there. I haven't seen my doctor in months. She first came missing in action and now they said she's sick, she's been sick for 2 months now. They don't care about you here at all. I was much happier when the doctors I was seeing that were associated with this profession when they had their own individual offices. Those doctors don't even exist there anymore now like I said you only get to see a nurse. Terrible at diagnosing as well. I wouldn't even give them one star. I saw a substitute doctor the last time I was there after a regular visit and have my blood test read back to me but no answers to any of the questions I had because as I said before my doctor or nurse, was missing in action so I couldn't ask about anything she was familiar with in my case. I would not recommend to anybody go to this place unless you're willing to sit in an air conditioned room for hours. By the way the doctors are not good at diagnosing anything at least not to my satisfaction and two other friends of mine also go to this place and they are very dissatisfied. Worst experience eve! Today,I had my appointment with one of the Doctors in the plantation office, unfortunately I got lost and when to the wrong building I got there 10-15 minutes behind schedule. I got check in and greeted by a pink headed medical assistant that without any smile told the get on the scale, since this is was a follow up appointment to discuss results I was expecting enter in the room and wait with the doctor. Same medical assistant many months ago in the Davie office has done a EKG the wrong way and have made a perfectly fine EKG wrong. This medical assistant was rude and walked out of the room telling me that the Doctor will come and see me. Few minutes later an office personal told me that due that I was late and on the phone I will need to reschedule. Many times I had waited for the Doctors more than 45 minutes and is ok. They value the doctors time but not the patients time. The way the office handle everything was rude and not professional at all. I will look for another office and do not Recomended the office to my family and friend as I did in the past. read more
