If you want to pay and have a full service experience where your car is dried and your interior is wiped down and vacuumed, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO!!! The concept is fine, pick a package and pay at the kiosk, stay in the car, go through the wash and pull out. Then the expectation is you will pull over to a vacuum and dry the car yourself. Maybe I'm lazy or have been spoiled, this isn't for me. If i feel like doing it myself I'll do it at home and do a nice job. $13 for a basic exterior wash was fine I guess although I had to go home and clean the spots that weren't cleaned and dry the car. FYI my car is two weeks old, was detailed prior to leaving the dealer and wasn't super dirty (see rear window pic after wash). I have been to a lot of self clean car wash's like this one. I thought i knew what to expect. Well I was blown away. You have a bug station just before you pay at the gate. The his is available to anyone free. You do t have to get a wash. I got the $20.00 second cheapest. They also have a club to join if you like. Washing my daughter's car , so I declined the club membership. The attendants are friendly and guide you through the track as you go into the wash cave. Lots of lights soap , water and of course blow dry. Exiting the wash cave , you can pull over to the self vacuum stall area. You are provided with window cleaner , towels, two types of vacuum tools, air gun to spray the cracks and crevices. The carpet cleaner is amazing. You clean you carpets wet then put on dry and run them through again. Works on carpet and vinyl mats. I was amazed on how well it worked . This car wash is relatively new in town. They provide services that others do not in the DIY vacuum washes. I was very happy with how it cleaned my car, happy with the way all the extras worked. Totally happy with everything. I will be back when I drive here to visit my daughter. read more

I have 4 accounts with ModWash in my household. When I first signed up on Fisher Boulevard in toms River, I was assured of the quality service we would receive. In the beginning staff was plentiful, and the equipment was maintained well. Over the last several weeks service and quality wash and customer service diminished extensively. I pay for upgraded level of service and I am not receiving those services. Here is a list of items that I wish to bring to your attention. I have not received tire shine over the last several weeks, although I pay for an upgraded service There are never clean towels to dry off the vehicle I have to wait several minutes for them to obtain them and hand them to me once I go into the office area. Just getting into the car wash is an issue as your screens are not working and it does not recognize my vehicles all the time Equipment is not being maintained properly, as stated tire shine is never refilled, The lights that tell you when to pull out at the end of the car wash are not working and causes people to stop in line making the entire car wash to shut down. The mat washing system is never working, it's missing heads from several of the vacuums, windshield washing fluid is not working and many times bottles that are put out to be used are empty, even the air blaster that is supposed to work at each area of the vacuums does not work properly. The biggest issue you have with the Fisher Boulevard location is management. You have no staff and the staff that is working is rude and not very helpful. I have not been offered an air freshener in months. No one is ever standing at the area where you pull in for the gate. If this is going to be the level of service, I need to expect then I need to ask to have all four of my accounts canceled if this cannot be rectified. At a minimum, I believe I should be credited for services that we have not received over the last several weeks. Believe me when I say, I am not someone who normally contact customer service but this has gone on for a long time and it just is getting worse by the day. When I tried to get assistant from the current manager, he could not provide me any and told me to go online to log a complaint. read more

It's not the worst but I've noticed high employee turn around and the machine always seems to have something not working. If you are a hands off owner, pay your employees well, they will make you your business flourish and keep a watchful eye on things. The wash is typical when everything is working. read more

Love the unlimited package. You go in and the scanner reads your plates. The gate opens and someone directs you into the car wash. And from there you put it in neutral and just enjoy. They provide accommodations like microfiber towels and vacuums for free. Two locations here in Toms River, if you have any of the unlimited packages, you can visit both. read more

Went Sunday 01-10-26 Just wanted to wash the salt off. Guys were very nice and helpful. Just did the 13-dollar exterior wash. Such a beautiful place but when I parked to wipe down my car the entire rear of the car was untouched! GROSS! I should have complained but just left. I was so mad. If I'm paying to wash the exterior. Wash the exterior. I live in a over 55 and will tell everyone STAY AWAY! read more

I love Mod Wash. I have a jeep and it looks so clean and shiny. The vacuums are really powerful, they also have an air compressor to get in the cracks. They offer micro soft cloths to wipe the exterior and interior. I enjoy taking my car there. Shout out to the personal, they are always so helpful. read more
