So I'll start this off by saying I cowork a lot. I'm part of the omaha coworking crew that goes to a different coffee shop every Wednesday, and I've had memberships to watts and covis when they were still around. This space is much nicer than either of those were, by a noticeable amount. Not to bury the lead here, since they bury it in their website, heres the info you're probably wanting, the prices! Day pass $20 Student day pass $10 Lounge membership $150/month Hot desk plan $250/month Dedicated desk plan $300/month Virtual office $100/month Small office (1-2 person) $750/month Medium office (2-5 person) $1800/month Large office (3-6 person) $2300/month Oh and if you want dedicated parking thats another $150 a month but it's in a heated access controlled garage. I meant to ask if you could just rent a parking space as that would be useful for me during our winters to have a heated garage spot for my racer to hibernate in, but forgot to ask. The space is vibrant, the conference rooms are well equipped, and the few tenants I met and talked to while working there for the day were all very nice. The 2 brothers that started the space were also extremely nice and friendly. I really do like the space, and I'll most definitely end up back in Modus when I get a little stir crazy in my home office and need a change of scenery. The proximity to good lunch and other food options is nice as well. The downtown Dirty Birds is a 3 minute walk, block 16, picklemans, jimmy johns, and tap house are all relatively close. I'd love to use this space and be here more often, but the price is the barrier for me. I'd need to be here more than 15 days a month to make the desk memberships more cost effective than just paying for a day pass, and the caveat I run into at most coworking facilities is that if you arent a developer, then theres not a lot of networking opportunities with the other people using the space, so being that I do offensive cybersecurity for a living, I miss out on one of the biggest selling points of coworking facilities. At the end of the day Modus is very nice, and has one of the most beautiful conference rooms I've ever seen (wierd thing to point out I know, but its that cool of a space), but it seems more targeted toward small businesses than "have laptop will travel" road-warrior consultants like myself.
