Our event took place and we are not the happiest with the service. The bartender that was provided did show up early to setup for the event which was awesome, however A few things would've made our event perfect but, had a lot of complaints throughout the night and when you are hosting the bar should be the last thing to worry about when you hire a company. The bartender that was provided was NOT knowledgeable about the 4 speciality cocktails that we picked from your list. Every time a guest wanted one of the drinks he had to Google the recipe on how to make it, which made the line long at some point throughout the night. He also was asking the host for other ingredients that were not on the inventory list provided in the booking process. At another point of the night he asked the host what was "Brandy". A consistent sanitary method of getting ice would have been very considerate seeing as through you are serving guest and should not be using your hand to grab ice. At a point in the night we were very tempted to ask him to leave and we would've figured out the rest of the night but, do to the fact we had guest there and we honored our contract, we just left it alone to make it through the party. There was also a moment to where we had to ask him to get back to the bar to make drinks as he was up making a plate of food a couple of times throughout the night. The invoice that was sent to us is incorrect. Our balance should only be $187.50. Once we get the corrected version, we will make that payment. Lastly, we were impressed in the beginning of our booking with the level of communication we received which is why we chose to book you all. As we got closer to the day of the event, we reached out via email and thumbtack for an update and check in and never received a response from our reaching out. I was scheduled to have two people staffed the day of my wedding. So, at 5 p.m., the event coordinator was not there (she was scheduled to come at 4:30). I called the girl who was supposed to be staffed the day of and she answered with an attitude, "I'm not working that event." I immediately called the main number three times and no answer/no callback that day. Instead of enjoying my wedding, I had to ask an attendee to help. I also had to help. The fact that there was no plan B (someone on call) and no response/callback really ticked me off. Instead I got a call on Monday. Anyway, on the other hand, the bartender was amazing. If it weren't for him, they would be getting one star. My family/friends enjoyed his energy and great drinks. But for the amount of stress, I went through the day-of, they were not worth my time/energy. You may want to consider staffing a back-up like everyone else does and build it in your price. Until then, I don't recommend their services. read more

This company is my immediate go- to! They have professionals that know what they are talking about! I have used this company twice. I have thrown many parties for over 80 guests, and to tell you the honest truth, they handled my parties as if it were a light walk in the park. Not only is planning an event stressful, running the event day of can be quite a task as well. My bartender David and his bar back were not only able to fully handle the stresses of liquor menu planning and serving, but were the eyes and ears of my party. My customized drink menu is also always a hit with my guests! I can not stress enough how valuable their service and experience truly were. I have found my perfect party accompaniment. My overall experience with MM was ok. A couple things that bothered me was there lack of attention to any of my requests. I initially completed a questionnaire which detailed my expectations. Since this was a surprise party for my husband, my preferred method of contact was email. However, David called me (despite reading what I requested)... that rubbed me the wrong way since my husband almost answered my phone but I let it go. Next, no one reached out to me about next steps in terms of what to purchase. It took them 5 days to tell me what to purchase (in which I emailed them for an update). Although we were a week away from the party, my work schedule doesn't allow me to be as flexible so I was hoping to get the list in a timely manner. Next thing that bothered me, I emphasized my colors were gold and black but their initial menu draft was black and white. I also made a request that my son was served a Shirley temple throughout the night since he was the child at the party. I bought the required ingredients but the bartender told my son they didn't have it but she was going to make him something close to it which was really nasty (his words not mine). Lastly, I received a $30 bill for a bar table. Nobody called me to tell me "hey we arrived and your venue doesn't have this at the moment so we provided you with the portable bar" My venue did in fact have the necessary table but nothing was communicated to me. The only time they called me was to tell me that nobody brought the cups (which I made sure to resolve ASAP) but why no mention of the portable bar?? Lastly, my guests brought liquor of their own and left it by the counter and the bartenders took a VSOP bottle and used it as a mixed drink... I did not witness this but my husbands father said he saw them do it. Not sure why they would use a bottle which was not part of the initial list. Also, if a guest did in fact tell them they could use the liquor, THAT SHOULD'VE been communicated to me first... nothing should've been served without my consent unless it was previously agreed upon. The bartenders were really nice and upbeat. My guests loved their personality. Although my experience with MM was not the best one. This was my second time using them and they were awesome for my engagement party but they failed me miserably for my husbands surprise birthday. read more

We really enjoyed our bartender Jennifer. She was upbeat and very attentive to our guests all night. She was prompt and was self-sufficient in getting everything ready for our party. I would absolutely use her services again. The overall experience was good. I gave 4 stars only because I thought the company tried to nickel and dime a little bit. The communication with Ashli was fine although I needed quite a bit of clarification on some items. The website and their marketing practices are very professional looking. However, I would have liked to have had more laminated drink menus. They did are mock-up of the menu and said they needed final approval by a certain time in order for menus to get to the printer on time. But to my knowledge, there were only 3-4 menus (one laminated) and I'm guessing they were printed using a basic HP printer. I was expecting a little more attention to detail here.
