When we had come to this decision to file for bankruptcy, we looked at the many lawyers that were available locally. All had fair positive reviews, yet one legal team stood out, it was Modesto Bankruptcy Attorneys. Their website was so detailed with good information, that answered many of the questions we had about filing and the options that we would have. Once we spoke with Paul, we knew we made the right decision by hiring them. Each step, Paul and Simran were ready to assist us and provide detailed answers to all our questions. They made the entire process stress free. Their dedication and professionalism is amazing. We highly recommend Modesto Bankruptcy Artorneys. read more

Best place I ever called for help ! They have went above and beyond service all ways there if you need a question answered understanding and helpful straight talk and double check Tina is great she made sure things went great my attorney Simran Hundal was awesome highly recommend read more

In the beginning things were great. My husband was laid off so we had to switch from a 13 to 7. The follow up was not the best after we had our court date. I would send emails to Simran's assistant Tina and would not hear back for days/weeks (only because I would email multiple times) or not at all. Yes most of my debt was eliminated. However, the main reason we filed was to help manage/eliminate our tax debt and I still owe the IRS, Debt not eliminated. I have emails showing we were given the wrong information, there was no apology or accountability of incorrect information given. I lost one of my vehicles because reaffirmations were not secured. I had to call my loan companies to make arrangements, one company was not willing to negotiate. I was told the loan company's had to call them, after being told they could not reach them, but I was able to talk to someone every time I called. After voicing my discontent, I received a very snide email from the assistant stating that she was out quite a bit taking vacation time for her wedding and honeymoon(as if this was my problem). I was also told at the end of the day to just stay on top of our payments and our cars would not be jeopardy. The problem was we needed to pay a large amount to get caught up on both cars. I also asked for a copy of the petition filed and did not hear back from them. When Tina would not respond, we would text Simran. He would respond rather quickly but would always refer us back to Tina. If you require a response within a reasonable amount of time, do not use this office. to me reasonable is 2-3 days not 1-2 weeks or not at all. And don't expect help after your court date or after it has been discharged. read more

sad sad sad, if you look at the positive reviews you will see a pattern. This is my second review from my previous which was horrible. The last time I had support was only after I posted a negative review on Yelp. I recently called and emailed them urgently because of a threat I had gotten from a creditor and still 7 days later nothing. I thought DMV was horrible but this place takes the cake. Paul was my so-called lawyer and only called me last time because I posted a negative comment on YELP. I am now paying a debt that was covered on my bankruptcy because I was threatened with a legal suit Where is my support??? Surprisingly my first review was deleted however I plan to keep this review updated to give those looking for help a chance not to make the same mistake I did read more

Worse experience ever! The lack of communication and response from Simran and his assistant Tina was ridiculous! The assistant wouldnt return calls or email and the attorney took a very long time to return emails. My case was filed a month late without an explanation why or that it was being filed later than agreed. I was very prompt with turning in my documents. The delay was not due to anything i did. The whole experience was more stressful than necessary. I wouldn't recommend them to my worse enemy! read more

In helping an out-of-town relative work through a difficult financial time, after my online research, Modesto Bankruptcy Attorneys stood out as the best option to contact. Paul Bains' professional and immediate response to my initial email inquiry was consistent with the positive online reviews of his firm. And after contracting with Modesto Bankruptcy Attorneys, all subsequent contact and service provided by Paul, Simran and Tina was exemplary. Additionally, as other Yelp reviewers have indicated, these are nice people! Please note that although my relative lives in Merced County, this was not an issue for this company. read more
