I wanted a pretty watercolor tattoo. I researched Joel Wright and loved his examples!…read more First off, he will charge you $300 for a deposit and his artwork of your tattoo.... NOT WORTH IT! Then he charges you $200 an hour to have the tattoo done.... NOT WORTH IT!!! I will say the drawing he did for me was beautiful. However, after getting the tattoo I left the parlor in tears..... The tattoo he drew on me looked similar but not at all like the painting. .. And not at all worth the price I paid for it. In fact, Joel hasn't even posted pics of the drawing compared to the tattoo on any of his websites yet ... And I think the above reason is why. Not good work. It makes me sad looking at it now... And I'm trying desperately to find someone to fix it. All I'm saying is that the artwork you see.... Is probably his best examples... But your not seeing all of them... And not all turn out pretty like the ones I saw.... Or they may not turn out like the picture he will draw for you. I would definetly not recommend him.

I made an appointment on January 24 with Matt. I arrived today for my 3:00 appointment and was told…read morehe was running late. Which was fine. Wasn't in a big hurry. I waited an hour. The front desk was talking about Matt and the fact he wasn't going to make it. FYI they were discussing this loudly in the office. If I hadn't gotten up and confronted them, would they have just let me sit there and wait!!! Who knows?!! I'm very disappointed in this facility. People who make appointments" like me from out of town" left work early and missed out on half a day pay. I understand emergency's happen but you have to communicate with your customers. This was unprofessional and the office workers did not handle this well at all and No one ever said I'm sorry for this inconvenience. I do not recommend this place unless your just walking in with something easy.

This business is run by a person with a complete lack of integrity. I went in back in November 2020…read moreto get a memorial tattoo. Caleb McCombs lied in his portfolio and I believed he was more talented than he turned out to be. When I asked him to fix it he threw a temper tantrum, then agreed with all the grace of acranky toddler, to fix it. When he leaned in to look at the damage I smelled alcohol on his breath at which point I knew I would not ever allow this person to come near me with a needle again. I left and called Kara, the shop owner. She assured me that she would get it fixed. She even, eventually, fired Caleb. However she also began to ignore my messages. She eventually did make an appointment for me to meet with an artist. She then canceled that appointment. She now wants me to track down Caleb and have him fix it. A complete turn around from her original assurances. If it will allow me to post enough pictures I will add screen shots of our conversations. I strongly recommend calling 3 Holes Down instead. The artists there have real portfolios and the integrity you need from a tattoo artist! Check out the pictures and choose for yourself. This is the quality that Kara is happy with!
