Received a fake vape sold at a marked up price, I get the smok brand because of there amazing warranty but when I go to input the vape I got from puff n stuff for the warranty this was the message I received. So can someone explain the logic to me of having to wear a mask inside a cigar/ pipe/ cigarette / vape shop ? I mean how hypocritical . I got half way in the shop to get my cigars I normally buy and was told If you don't have a mask we can get you one. I said I don't wear masks . (not a sheep) She said politely , sorry its company policy. So I left and went across the street to the new cigar store that didn't make me wear a silly mask. To the owner. You are a hypocrite , you sell tobacco products and vape. You allow people to smoke in your store ? Tobacco has killed millions and millions over the years, and vaping will rear its ugly head soon. You make this a mandate in your store just to COMPLY and make a statement , ohh look at me I care about peoples health . Yes I smoke cigars and yes I know the risk, but its my choice. Just like if you wanna wear a face diaper and breath your own Co2 then that should be your choice. What are you gonna do next , check Vaccination Passports before you can enter the store? When I first walked in, one of the employees was having a makeout session with some chick. Whenever I entered their humidor, he followed us in and asked if we had any questions. I asked if he carried one of my favorite brands of cigars, and he started saying how they are crap because he doesn't like them and anyone who likes them doesn't know anything about cigars. I had a friend with me who is new to smoking cigars. He would ask me questions about cigars. As I would answer the employee would cut me off. Apparently he is the only one who knows anything about cigars, and anyone who doesn't like what he likes is an idiot. read more

I'll have to say first time I visited I was pretty much on a mission to get some CAO's I wasn't happy about putting on the mask, but I understand health safety. being fallowed to the humidor got to me. made me feel I was being watched I got my CAO's and left. second visit was quite different. Still fallowed in the humidor by a young blonde young lady. sad to say I have forgotten her name she was very helpful and showed me around to the smoking lounge a couple more humidors containing select cigars. Since then I have received some discounts introduced to some quality smokes and the mask requirement is in the past. Looking back I was anew face in the place. now everyone is welcoming and helpful. not a bad smoke shop at all prices are good. I enjoy stopping in when I can to by supplies and smokes. I'll keep buying Here every chance I get even if it just to buy a single to try something new. read more

I stop in every time I'm back in the area. From what I have seen, Puff 'n Stuff is an adequate tobacconists to stop by for cigars and pipe tobaccos. Chris, I believe his name, has always showed professionalism during each visit. Though I'm not a regular customer (being from the Houston area), I do wish they would carry more premium brands of both cigars and pipe tobaccos, but I can understand the hesitation due to the costs vs movement. I, however tend to seekout out brands such as Liga Privada #9's, La Flor Dominicana Andalusian Bull, Davidoff Signatures, and Esoterica blends, etc. As it is custom for I'm in town for the week (11/19 - 11/26) and will be stopping in while here. Opportunities I see for the tobacconists at Puff 'n Stuff: 1) Get to know your customers - new and regulars. Cigars and pipe tobaccos are not flyby the seat. These are meant to be enjoyed and not hurried. Sometimes I feel people can be "pressured" by the tobacconists and customers will likely make the wrong purchase. If so, they will not likely to be a returning customer. 2) For new smokers, ask open ended questions to target ones tastes. For instance; "Tell me about the best desert you've ever had", or "tell me about the flavors you prefer over others". Use this information to guide them to the right cigars or pipe tobacco that hint on the notes they are seeking. If you do not have something perfect for them, let them know you'll order it and recommend a suitable choice until it arrives. 3) For Cigar Aficionado's, let them look and not interrupt. As a tobacconists you should be able to tell your customers a part. 4) Never, never ever degrade a customers choice. If a customer indicates they liked the Drew Estate Sun Grown, DO NOT SAY, "this is a lot better than those". 5) Customers pay the bills and your paycheck. Be helpful but not a nuisance. Build relationships! In closing, I recommend anyone in the area to stop by Puff 'n Stuff and enjoy one of Texarkana's privileges. Pick out your favorite smoke and enjoy! Jeff C. read more
