This business is run by a person with a complete lack of integrity. I went in back in November 2020…read moreto get a memorial tattoo. Caleb McCombs lied in his portfolio and I believed he was more talented than he turned out to be. When I asked him to fix it he threw a temper tantrum, then agreed with all the grace of acranky toddler, to fix it. When he leaned in to look at the damage I smelled alcohol on his breath at which point I knew I would not ever allow this person to come near me with a needle again. I left and called Kara, the shop owner. She assured me that she would get it fixed. She even, eventually, fired Caleb. However she also began to ignore my messages. She eventually did make an appointment for me to meet with an artist. She then canceled that appointment. She now wants me to track down Caleb and have him fix it. A complete turn around from her original assurances. If it will allow me to post enough pictures I will add screen shots of our conversations. I strongly recommend calling 3 Holes Down instead. The artists there have real portfolios and the integrity you need from a tattoo artist! Check out the pictures and choose for yourself. This is the quality that Kara is happy with!

I've been getting my lashes done by Amanda at YN Eyelash, and she is truly one of the best lash…read moretechs I've ever had. Amanda has been doing lashes for many years, and you can feel her experience in every step -- her touch is incredibly gentle, her placement is precise, and she always pays attention to the small details that make the final look perfect. Before starting, she took the time to understand the style I wanted and adjusted the curl and length to fit my eye shape beautifully. The whole process was super comfortable. no poking, no irritation, and I could completely relax. The final result looked clean, soft, and flattering without feeling heavy at all. My lashes also lasted really well, falling out evenly and staying pretty for weeks. If you're looking for a skilled, patient, and truly professional lash artist, Amanda is someone I would highly recommend.

Elysium Spa made my wife's day!…read more While visiting friends in Texarkana my wife wanted to get the proverbial mani-pedi. Taking a chance, we tried Elysium. When I picked her up she went on-and-on about the service she received and the new friends she made. Her nails looked fantastic and she really wants to go back before we leave town. When I picked her up I met the proprietress, Chi, and was very impressed by her professionalism and friendliness. The spa was immaculate and the decor impeccable. Although it's only based on one trip, I can't help but recommend this spa highly. By the way, in case you're wondering why I wrote this review (instead of my wife): when the spa I chose makes my wife's day...she makes mine!

I was very pleased with the way I felt after the appointment which was a complete relief from my neck, shoulders and upper back. He was skilled and professional. Talked more than I wanted at first, but I welcomed it and regarded it as him trying to get to know his new client. His salon had a welcoming, relaxing, very clean feel, and smelled so fresh! When I looked up at the ceiling, there were glowing stars that slowly faded & changed colors! Wow!! I liked looking at it, but my eyes just wanted to stay closed with the massage! :) He was professional but he didn't make me feel like I'm just there and gone, but I felt like he cared and used his skills to massage away every knot and tension on my back with the right pressure even when my time was up. Also the products he used felt calming and smelled delicious! It was a great experience overall. Above and beyond what I expected. Highly recommended!
