Finally it came down to a handful of places near me and I decided to narrow it down to one practitioner and place and decided to go with Ana at Malina Portals. After checking out her website and exploring her services and offerings I decided I wanted to book a private session for my first meeting. Before doing so I had a few more questions and wanted to speak directly with the practitioner before actually booking my first appointment. We were able to speak directly on the phone and while talking telling her my story and history with sound bowls and mediations in general. I specified I've only done sound bowls virtually and never in person before. I also shared with her my current medical condition and injuries. After assessing what I shared with her she recommended I do the reiki and sound bowl session for 60 minutes. I must say and note that Ana was very patient with me on the phone and polite taking her time answering questions and even helped me complete signing up and actually booking the appointment on her website. I opted for the 90 minute reiki and sound bowl session as I wanted to get the full experience of what she had to offer on my first visit not having to rush due to time constraints. I have to say for my first experience with her it was a great experience and very relaxing while being therapeutic. When I first came into her studio and place I was warmly greeted at the door and given a tour of her studio and work stations and she informed me of the instruments and tools she would be using during our session. Then we started the session and all I can say is it was way more than I expected for my first experience. Like previously stated I have only done virtual sound baths and sound bowls prior to this meeting with other practitioners so this was an entirely different experience all together. I felt the energy and transformation on a personal level and it was more intense in person than in my previous virtual sessions with prior practitioners. I felt healing from the vibrations and waves of energy that shifted during the reiki portion of my session. This in turn opened me up to the sound portion which happened afterwards. I felt my body relax and respond positively as the sound intensified sending vibrations and energy throughout my body simultaneously. I also started to feel relief of pain in my back and ankles from injuries I had previously which I did not expect at all. That's one thing I can say you can't go in with much expectations just go in with an open mind and open heart. The best way to describe this portion of the sound bath healing section of the session was like having a deep tissue massage without someone actually touching you physically. I don't know if that makes sense but that's the best way to describe the experience and feeling I had during this portion of the session (results may vary). I laid there for a few minutes doing some breath work to recenter me back into the room and ground myself back into the room. After the session was complete I processed what had occurred and talked for w with Ana and she recommended a book for me to read for homework. I have been reading a few chapters so far and it seems like just what I needed to move forward in my journey at this point it's very insightful, nourishing and fulfilling. I had such a great first experience that I actually booked my second session already because I had such a positive experience and was blown away with the results which I still feel almost 48 hours later which is very impressive. This is my experience and personal testimony your results may vary depending on where you are in your life and what you're going through or need in particular. I do think wholeheartedly you will have a positive experience if you're open and come with a clear mind, clean conscience and clean heart. Hope this helps enjoy! Despite not being able to coordinate travel to her, Simone shared resources and meditation tools to help guide me on my healing journey. I reached out again a few months later and Simone tried her best to accommodate my needs but we still couldn't get an in person visit down. I learned that she also offered remote Reiki, something I was very surprised by and a bit skeptical about. She spent a good deal of time explaining the process to me, sharing photos, giving me guidance on steps Id need to take prior to, during and after the session. She also shared a variety of resouces to help guide me - with or without her services. I decided to do the remote Reiki and it was very different from what I had experienced before. The healing work is ongoing but I immediately felt better after our session. When we debriefed about everything, it was such a powerful learning experience for me. I continue the prayers and meditations she gave me, even when I feel like they arent working and I am equallu grateful for the perspective Simone gave me as well as the gateway to healing she opened for me. I wouldnr have been able to do it with therapy or meditation alone. I was carrying so much anger resentment pain and guilt. Almost one month later, we continue to be in touch and she offen shares videos, responds promptly when a dream or question surfaces for me, etc. Simone is worth every penny, even though she clearly does her work out of love and her clients get so much more than a Reiki session. Simone individualizes her approach and personalizes her interactions with clients so they can relax and trust the process, and tap into other resources like channelers, readers, etc. Thank you, Simone, for reminding me of where my power is and how I can reclaim my identity and realign with the universe/my path.
