The out of state case against me in Puerto Rico was already completely DISMISSED, meaning the proper legal remedy belongs in a CA court. Crucially, my opposing party is the prominent California attorney James Bergener. The firm's website boasts that their Intake Specialist, Stacy Chenqi, uses her "analytical skills" and "attention to detail" to ensure a smooth, supportive client experience. Unfortunately, my experience was the exact opposite. Instead of reviewing the critical facts of my case, Stacy Chenqi sent me a lazy, robotic AI like rejection stating they "aren't certified to practice in Puerto Rico." Had Stacy actually utilizied those alleged analytical skills to read my detailed summary, she would know that I was not asking the firm to practice law in PR, I was asking them to help me modify an existing contract proposal or file a lawsuit in a California court. This total failure of basic reading comprehension and lack of intake discretion makes me question the firm's professionalism and makes me suspect an underlying conflict of interest is the actual reason or a fear of taking on certain opposing counsel. If you want a firm that actually delivers the "attention to detail" they advertise, don't waste your time or energy here.

We waited 6 WEEKS for the police report, where the reporting officer found him "at fault" after interviewing JUST 1 witness and the driver, who said he was in the intersection. Not wanting to spend $$$ to retain a lawyer, we waited to see what kind of settlement amount the insurance would offer. We were then bullied by the insurance adjuster who convinced my fiancée that since he was found "at fault", they owed us nothing. We contacted a well-advertised billboard lawyer who told us we had "no case" because he had been found "at fault." Feeling dejected at a low moment of exasperation, my fiancée signed a settlement agreement of $10,000 as he was told "that's all you're going to get because you were found at fault." I literally got home :20 after he signed. I was furious and this let to a lot of fights between us. I found John Rajee of RMD Law on Yelp as a lot of reviews said he handled "difficult situations." He was kind and professional but also understood human nature and the whole dilemma we faced- trying to get a contract invalidated AND attempt to re-settle with the insurance company. He also advised me on different ways MY auto insurance could help even though my fiancée was on a bicycle. Although John consulted other colleagues to discover ways to secure a better settlement, ultimately nothing could be legally done to get the settlement contract negated :( Unfortunately, my fiancée and I had to move forward with accepting the circumstance. Through all these developments, John kept advising us and was professional and thorough. He advised me as an experienced counselor and also just an honest guy who took the time to reassure me that basically it wasn't the end of the world. Frankly, I was very very angry with my fiancée over his moronic decision to sign, and speaking to John just honestly helped me move past my anger and put the whole bad situation behind me. I would absolutely recommend John and his colleagues to anyone seeking legal advisement, and I will definitely refer him to friends and family. Even if you just need an answer or two, PLEASE contact RMD before signing anything, taking action, or accepting offers. They absolutely will help!

I know a lot of lawyers personally but had never had to deal with an accident lawyer and felt that most I talked to were either too aggressive, impractical or just not interested because my accident seemed small or not worthy of treatment. From the very beginning, John was open and honest about my case and gave me the guidance and direction that no one else seemed to be able to provide. I learned a lot about small claims court along the way because I had dropped the ball on my case, even if it was thru no fault of my own. John was easy to talk to and gave me the time needed. He was both practical and efficient. It was refreshing that he was available within reason and wasn't in a rush when dealing with me. Having written so many reviews on Yelp I have really learned who I can trust, and his Yelp site was honest and refreshing compared to so many billboard lawyers and even compared to friends and acquaintances! I was with a different law firm at the beginning of my case. A "bigger" more "famous" law firm that specialized in workers comp. After the initial consultation with them I had to constantly track them down and no one would get back to me. They filed a claim full of mistakes, some as obvious the date of injury or address, and never fixed it even after I reached out to them multiple times. I was very disappointed and felt a bit hopeless until Ryan came along. He had to work backwards and fix the mistakes that my previous law firm made as well as fight the insurance company and employer. I highly recommend his services. My wife and I used the services of John Wong and his firm in the development of our family trust. John is outstanding. He took the time to explain all the in's and out's of trusts, will, pour over wills, probate, etc. so that we had a full knowledge of what we were dealing with and what would be the best direction to take for our family estate. At the end of the day, we have everything in place that protects our assets, gives clear direction on our desires and eliminates problems that could arise had we not put this in place. I recently attended a estate plan seminar/presentation, and I discovered a couple of flaws in the estate plan that was prepared. I have to retain another estate attorney to assist in fixing the issue and get the administration started. It's a great disservice to the owner of the estate plan and the heirs who are still waiting to be notified and receive what their mom or grandma left for them. PLEASE, do NOT do these to people or treat clients this way!

Going through the probate process took a long time(2 and a half years) partial due to the nature of the courts and partially due to some more uncommon issues that came up. Including an existence of a trust, but being unable to locate a copy including finding the attorney who originally set up the trust and asking if they had any copies. Unfortunately, the trust was set up before computer records were common. Another problem they helped me with was SunRun decided, for reasons we were never able to figure out, to try to shut of service even after I had began the process of transferring everything into my name and was only then waiting on the deed for the house that I wouldn't have until probate was over. Getting a letter saying SunRun was going to deactivate my service for being overdue on payments while in the same letter saying I owed no money and was 0 days past due was confusing and was confusingto every SunRunemployeei spoke to and none could give me answers. Burris Law helped me tremendously with this and without their help I don't know what would have happened in the end. I can't say enough nice things about them. They sent me 2 small care packages during the process and it was really nice to get something positive in the mail during a time when I was getting anxiety every time the mail came. Even after probate has been over for a year they answer any questions I have that come up. Retaining their services was expensive, as it would have been for any probate attorney, and it was worth every cent. When I'm in a better spot I'll be back to set up my own trust with their help.

We can no longer recommend this firm. We had set up a trust in 2024 and at that time we knew we…read morewould be adding more grandchildren to it eventually. We should have been given the option in the wording of the trust to cover future grandchildren from our only son. Instead, we are now being told we would have to pay $1,500 to add our recent new granddaughter. Why weren't all options offered to us when we set up the trust? We trusted them because we are not lawyers. Not only that, after we were given this upsetting new information, nobody returned my call. I had to email them to confirm that this was the case. Nobody ever called us to discuss the matter, nor were there any attempts to work with us. They fired us as clients via email because I mentioned that I would be forced to post on social media about this unfortunate situation. They are a completely unprofessional firm. I don't recommend this firm because they only care about how much they can make off their clients. I truly thought they cared about their clients, but they do not. Save yourself from future nickel and diming from this firm if you have to make any changes to your trust!

I found out that they do not take on elder law, and they do not do asset protection the quality of the contact was disappointing, and I found no value in the conversation. Why advertise yourself as doing this kind of work if you really are not I don't get it.
