They will tell you it's reflective of the market rate, which is rather unfortunate if you're interested in supporting local business without wasting money. I've been directly told by their staff several times to take my business to eBay. This is functionally a brick-and-mortar store for a WhatNot-style breaker operation. On the plus side, when you overpay for a product with missing hits and they refuse to help, you can try to forget about it with an overpriced beer next door!
