Unfortunately working with these guys has been only a pain. They always come up with "hidden"…read morecosts, delay the process with department of buildings purposely, and then tell you that you need to pay for amendments. Be very careful with them. Specifically with the owner Alex Lotovsky. He is a complete fraud and con artist. Every time you come into his office or call, his "secretary" says he is not there. Yet he is always there. He tries to dodge people. For the simple reason because people catch up to his con and then scream at him. I have been at his office several times and heard clients screaming at him. Its very very sad. Even worse, is that the workers he hires are foreigners who always mess up, then he fires them and then hires new ones who mess up. I did have one slightly good experience with him in the beginning where he was so nice, so friendly and even did really nice drawings. That is what got me to go with him, but then as the process continued, he just kept asking for more money and money. It took over 18 months to get the permit with department of buildings, after he squeezed me out of over $15,000 which started at a $8,000 cost. All because Mr. Lotovsky kept asking for more and more amendment fees. After my project was finally closed, I decided to speak with some of his former employees. I was shocked to find out that he pays them in cash, avoids paying taxes and just treats them bad. Its a shame. A big shame. I spoke with some others who had similar if not worse experiences with Alex. Can't see citiscape being in business to much longer with this attitude!
