I'm so glad a woman working next to the nail shop recommend Modern Nails to me! I've been in the area exploring, hiking and enjoying beautiful Georgia for two months and I was so in-need of a pedicure; it's truly hard to find a clean, nice shop while traveling! I didn't have an appointment so when I arrived Modern Nails was very busy but so organized and professional!; my nail technician Lee was awesome.. She took her time attending the my achy feet and removed the start of ingrown toenail that I couldn't get to after having back surgery; I'm not flexible like I used to be; so Lee took her time and with great, gentle care. I didn't get color so she surly made my visit so relaxing and she spent the right amount of time giving me a wonderful Pedi; so I would totally recommend Modern Nails! Thank you Lee. read more

Awful customer service! The worst experience I've ever heard of. I did apparently want a difficult shape. however when I expressed the nails weren't turning out like the inspiration photo she immediately kicked me out and said we won't do your nails and don't come back. If it's a shape that you can't do then let's try a different one, I'm flexible and have a ton of different inspiration photos. But it never got to that. I never was rude at all she just didn't like hearing they did a bad job. separately the pedicure.... every one of my toe nails was a different shape so I asked her to remove the polish it doesn't look good. never once was rude about it. and the way they treated me because I asked her to take the polish off was unbelievable. Not to mention the entire staff looked at me when she walked away and said something. I would understand if I was rude about anything I said but I wasn't. read more

Had an appointment. Still waited 45 minutes to be served. Got my acrylic nails done and they looked fine the first few days then the nails began to lift and fall off after about a week. Also recently heard about them not cleansing their tools properly. Don't think I'll be back. read more

The pedicure was phenomenal. The gel polish was not dry on my nails. It bubbled up and chipped off the next day on a few. The staff members were polite. I did not like that some did not have clients, so they were hovering over and staring at the ones performing services. read more

I always ask for an SNS manicure and a gel pedicure. The staff is always friendly and the manager is great about getting walk-in customers served as quickly as possible. The shop is always clean and they use sanitary methods such as plastic liners in the pedicure sinks changed between every client. I recommend Modern Nails with complete confidence to my friends and family. read more

I never write reviews, like ever, but I had to because until now, I've hated the way techs have done my nails. I had Ivy and I was getting a fill-in. She did awesome, she was nice, patient with me and gave me exactly what I asked for. I'm definitely requesting her when I go back. read more

I am obsessed with my nails every time I leave. Best nail salon in town. I would not give my business to anyone else here.

Well... I have an update. Honestly the place is great and they do a wonderful job but the pricing is the biggest issue. These nails were $90 but a few weeks later I got a much more complicated design done and they were still $90. The sign has a different price for basic nails and the only extra thing about the blue ones was the sparkly clear coat she put on top of two. The owner walks by and names the price on the spot, instead of having a system of pricing I guess. I just find it odd that there isn't a more detailed breakdown of prices and why two totally different sets cost the same amount. read more

This place was absolutely AWFUL. Not only was it dirty and unorganized but the staff did awful jobs on both my fingers and toenails. The staff were unorganized, the manager didn't seem to know how to run the place and it took TWO HOURS for a regular mani/pedi. This place is the absolute worst I hate that we even have to rate them. Not only did they mess up on my sister n law but they ripped us off. They charged me 183 dollars for the people my sister n law had her nails and toes done with the sun kissed pedicure($45)plus gel nails($25) my little sister got a mani and spa pedi ($30) regular nail no gel just regular, I had gotten a sun kissed pedicure which was ($45) including gel. Add it all up costed $145 and they charged 183 to my card after we gave them a $20 tip they ripped us off and was not the best at what they did. The nail artist who normally does my nails are good but the pedicure ladies are absolutely terrible. The one dude that does pedicures is the absolute best never will I go back there again! They also talked about my little sister because she still sucks her thumb and doesn't get that nail painted. They pointed at her and talked very quietly about her. They didn't think I was listening but I was and I was using google translate to see what all they were saying. This is terrible and I will continue going to my regular nail salon. read more

Today was an awful experience at Modern Nails. I go to get my nails done for stress relief. Not today! Wanted a Manicure And french fill in. The technician was argumentative, in a hurry and basically telling me I didn't ask for what I asked for! Didn't get a complete manicure because I didn't say "full" manicure. What??? Had to get the manager involved multiple times. If you are too busy to service your customer's properly, then you are too busy to be in business. More stressed when I left, not too happy with the outcome either. read more

One of my top nail salons to go now. I visited them this week for a pedicure. I got the sun kissed pedicure deluxe. It was AMAZING. The nail tech was amazing and did amazing with massaging and soaking my feet in the oranges that came with the deluxe package. I can't explain the task really but it was amazing. My feet felt like butter and so rejuvenated. I will go back soon. read more
