He was only interested in burning nerves in my back, gave me a few knee injections for my chronic knee issue after my operation. No one told me where dr rodney mccarver went to practice until today. I had a sch appt today at 130, he didnt come in the room until 230ish. Looked at my knee, said he couldn't do anything about it, it had a scab on it. however he was more interested in my lumbar pain, sch for a back procedure to burn nerves on the 16th of this month. He didnt give me a script, he also reduced my meds which I still have pain. I give him an F for patient service, I give him an F for having me wait for over an hour for a scheduled appt. NOT A WALKIN OR DOUBLE BOOKED APPT. THIS WAS SCHEDULED and I saw him for 2 mins!! I timed it on my phone. How dare he treat me like my time instead valuable or as important as his. How dare he spend approx 2 mins when he does come in. He gets an F for everything. He practices at advanced spine and pain. I'm just glad I found my prev dr. Dr rodney mccarver so he can continue treating me. He was the best dr there ever. Lots of patients asked where he is. I will provide his contact info only if ppl request it. I has to practically beg the receptionist to provide his contact info. I'm so thankful I got it before my appt, cuz I know I wouldnt have received it after thevawfulbappt I had with majid saleem. That said I was an established patient at Advanced Spine and Pain with Dr. Buck since Dec 2016 who had no issue taking me off a non narcotic nerve pain medication upon my initial visit, and with every visit was left feeling intimidated and should be thankful for any help at all... In September 2017, with no notice from the clinic or the doctor that Dr. Buck was no longer practicing in this clinic and patients were being shifted to other Doctor's in the office... I got Dr. Ghaleb, being an established patient in the clinic with a clean record of following clinic rules, Dr. Ghaleb upon my first visit with decided to take me off my non narcotic nerve pain medication cold turkey (but didn't tell me to my face he was going to do so) and reduced my other meds as well... Again this could have lead to severe health complications! Neither Doctor cared to follow protocols for properly tapering a patient off any type pf medication that calls for tapering. I'd also add the staff wasn't any better than the doctors and their attitude towards legitimate chronic pain patients who do everything they ask of their patients!

I was requested to return for a follow up after my first appointment a few weeks ago, which I didn't really understand the purpose of, but if the doctor wanted to see me I assumed it would be for a reason. In my first appointment the doctor stared at my chest for most of it, which made me uncomfortable, but I've been trying to get into a pain specialist for several years, so I figured I'd give him another chance. When I got there I did all the paperwork, then waited for half an hour before I was seen. When I got to his office, he said that there wasn't any reason for us to be meeting, since the MRI that he ordered hadn't yet been approved by insurance. Within 5 minutes, he sent me on my way, saying that he didn't see a purpose in us meeting again. Since I was not provided any medical care, I requested the front desk to return my copay. They said that since I had spoken to the doctor, it counted as a visit and they wouldn't give me my money back. I'm very unsatisfied with my experience, and I won't be returning.

We scheduled him for his first visit to PTCOA in Little Rock, AR to find out what is the root cause of the pain he feels. The staff up front was welcoming and kind. The individual who checked him in was pleasant to deal with. The problem came when he was seen by one of the physicians. She introduced herself and asked my husband why he was there. She listened to him for about 10 minutes, interrupted him, and told him what she thought. She did not bother to look at his med list. He did not get a chance to tell her of the 5 hospitalizations in the last 6 years, the bladder infections and stent placement, nor the 2 comas he has been in just since 2018. This physician saw him as just another drug addict looking for a fix. I was disgusted. She did not offer a single x-ray, MRI, or CT scan. Not a single test to see what is happening. I have been a pharmacist for 37 years. I know all about satisfying DEA requirements and prescribing limitations placed on healthcare professionals. The haughty behavior from this doctor's preconceived ideas were unbelievable. She seriously needs a refresher course on bedside manner and how to listen. I have told him to go to UAMS and never return to PTCOA. We thought they would try to find the cause of the pain. It turns out we were just another number.

His name is Justin Seale. He and his staff did an amazing job .The thing I really liked about Dr. Seale is he wanted to get to know me and my wife and hear about our family and what really set me at ease was he asked to pray over me and my family before we even left our room. My neck was broken in 2 places and they repaired both fractures and wired me up. It's now 2018 and I am still functioning. Neck gets a little sore, but it's better than the alternative. If you don't care that I'm working, and in severe pain, and cannot sleep, then maybe you are in the wrong business. My first visit, I saw a male nurse practitioner, who led me to believe he was the doctor. Second appointment I told them I wanted to see a real doctor. I saw Dr. Newbern, that was mid-April. I haven't been able to get another appointment, and my prescription ran out late May. I'm told I just have to wait until sometime in September. They obviously have no compassion.

Mocek Spine was fully aware that I was prescribed 1 zanax at bedtime for sleep. I never tried to…read morehide the fact. I was given multiple injections, nerve burns, MRI's and X-rays. Finally after several years I received a spinal stimulator that took most of my pain away. Within a few short months I was dropped as a patient for taking the one zanax nightly. My PCP wrote a letter to Dr Mocek as requested and the PRN (Sandee) actually made fun of my PCP (Dr Timmothy Reece) saying his letter was just.....and just laughed. At this point I feel like they milked my insurance for all they could get then dropped me as a patient for the flimsy reason of taking one zanax nightly. I don't recommend this clinic for this reason. I feel like it's a money grab and gone. When your insurance runs out so will they type feeling. My insurance didn't run out but they exhausted all of the ways they could bill them.
