Cristian and his team did a great job on replacing my driveway…read more The communication was good and the job was done quickly and efficiently. The price is fair for the work they did. I would use them again.

TERRIBLE. STAY AWAY…read more Wife of the previous 1-star review describing the concrete seal / anti-scratch nightmare. SOOO happy Cristian responded to our review in the manner that he did -- perfectly shows who he and his company is, what they stand for, and what awaits you as a homeowner. 1) Admits that one of HIS EMPLOYEES DID make those promises to us. This is the only reason we decided to move forward with the job -- "nothing will scratch this product". Particularly our dogs and entry foot traffic. If we would've been told that there was ANY risk of scratches, we would've never moved forward and co toned looking for other treatments. We were deceived. 2) "Employee is no longer with us" Just because you fired someone one later, doesn't mean that the promises (lies), and work (mess) they did while representing your company magically go away. It was your employee, working under your name, take accountability, that's business. 3) "Sorry we couldn't keep your dog from scratching your floor" Again, dodging accountability and flipping the blame back to the homeowner. Outrageous statement to make after having admitted that his employee did make promises of "nothing will scratch this product", and us having specifically asked about - dogs, shoes, rocks, and dragging furniture. But what he will tell you now is, "you should've known". As if the homeowner is expected to be the expert. Extremely childish. 4) Despite whatever he may say now, IN WRITING, he agreed to pay back 50% of the job ($2500) over 10 months. And after 5 months, only $200 has been paid. He will dodge every call, every text, and when you do finally reach him, he will LIE and say "oh yes, I'll send it right now" , and then have you start the monthly chase cycle again. He made this agreement himself. Not a former employee. So what's the excuse now? Yet another example of Cristian and his company failing in their promises and commitments.

Needed some concrete work redone around my swimming pool. Looked on YELP and found Sergio's…read moreConcrete Work. Sergio was very busy but was able to come out on a Sunday to look at the project and then sent a bid through email. I found his price to be very competitive and he understood the work we needed done. He and his crew came out and did the project in 1 day. It was a small project so it was done in 1 day, we paid at the end of the day after the project was done. They hauled and disposed of the old concrete matter. The crew was well mannered. They cleaned up the area well when they finished the project. We were happy with the work and we do recommend him.

Even though i had several concrete quotes, I did a google search and found Sergios Concrete Works…read moreand reached out to them. Sergio came our, quoted the job and told us about his business and after comparing the quotes we realized that Sergios was very competitive. So we hired him and his team. They came out and in one day did all the concrete work that we needed by concreting, where two stalls were in our barn, concreted, the lean too attached to our barn for us to store our tractor and also put in a concrete pad for a propane tank. Sergio was very communicative. He understood what we wanted. His crew was respectful of our property and cleaned up after themselves. After they completed the job, Sergio hauled away the old concrete that they had to tear out. I will definitely refer him to anybody that I know. And we will use him again in the future.

This company came recommended from someone in my family. They did an 8 x 10 patio in which they…read morecharged $600 and had it completed in about 3-4 hours, so i had no hesitation in calling to get a bid on my patio. They came out the same day I called and looked at the space. I have a backyard that is small and it had no patio before. They gave me an estimate for 10 x 31 with leveling (because I had grass that has been there for 6 years and was very strong) All together they charged me $2,450.00. I had to pay half up front, which was fine because i know most contractors ask for that. When they left they told me it would be Wednesday before they could start and they would finish in 2 days, this was a Thursday this annoyed me a little, but i understand if they are good then they are busy. By the way they weren't busy doing concrete they were passing out phone books as a side gig?? This was red flag number one but I had paid them $1,200 so at this point I was locked in. On the Tuesday before they were to start work, I called them just to make sure they were still going to be there. They said they would be there before 9am. They did not show up until 10:30, red flag number 2. Red flag number 3 came right after that when they left for the day at 1:30!! They only completed the platform and asked to use MY mower to cut the grass short so it would be easier for them. Asking to use someone personal property is not good. On Thursday they showed up mid-morning and finished one section of concrete. On Friday they called me at 7:30am and said that it might rain so they weren't going to be there until Sat. I said okay and hung up. They showed up at my house unannounced at 1:00pm that day.. thought they weren't coming. Anyways i guess they figured they could get in as much as they could before the rain started... it never rained. They stayed until dark which is good but the reason why is because they "forgot" about a vacation they were taking and they wouldn't be back until Monday! So Monday rolls around and they show up at mid-morning to finish the job. Once they completed the last section of concrete they asked for payment and said they would be back in 2-3 days to tear down the framework of the platform. Not only did they not show up (what a surprise), I called several times and they never answered. My boyfriend and I had to go out and tear it down ourselves. So the moral of the story is they did an okay job on the concrete but they lack good business ethics. DO NOT HIRE THESE GUYS!
