I've been wanting to do something to get a more defined jawline for quite a while. I tried Kybella, but the results were minimal, and the swelling lasted for over a month. I wanted something permanent, and something that was "one and done." So I consulted with Dr. Skalicky, and decided to go with the SmartLipo along my jawline. This was something that was done in-office under local anesthesia. They were nice enough to get me in on the days I wanted since my procedure was on the shorter side, despite being mostly booked out for a month. Afterwards, I was offered a pain medicine and antibiotic rx, which I didn't fill, and I wasn't really in any pain at all while healing. I had to wear a ridiculous compression bandage on my face for a week, and now on the second week I'm allowed to take it off when I go out. I'm very happy with my results so far, and being awake for the procedure was not so bad! The stitches are unnoticeable and there's still minor swelling and bruising at this point. I've been seeing both Kaitlyn and Jillian for almost two years now at the KOP location, and they are both wonderful. Kaitlyn is very skilled & knowledgeable in her area of expertise and Jillian is extremely caring of her clients and always looking to help. Dee, the receptionist, is the sweetest person and is always radiating positivity. Only "con" is that there's been a few occasions where I've had to wait a while in the waiting room/exam room as they were running behind. Certain treatments are also a little pricey, but that's just part of the aesthetics game these days. read more

Hands down, the BEST experience I've had at a plastic surgeon's office. I've been to so many over the years just trying to find the right fit and becoming frustrated that 90% of the consults I had were rushed, staff was dismissive, and the doctor condescending and arrogant. But NOT here!! I really feel the experience I have at the consult is more important than the results. Even if the doctor has lots of great photos of their work, if I walk into a consult and feel not listened to and disregarded than I don't feel that I can trust these people to care for me in any regard during this process. Start to finish, it was wonderful! If you want to feel like a princess for a day, go here. The staff is so attentive and friendly, it really makes a difference. I was greeted with smiles, the staff addressed me by name and made eye contact when talking, everyone spoke kindly and in a friendly manner, and most of all everyone was so patient! My consult with the Nurse was great. She was upbeat, friendly, and the positive attitude all around made me feel less nervous about the procedure. Everything was explained thoroughly, and I got plenty of written instructions and was encouraged to call with any questions. Best of all, she was so patient with me as I read all the fine lines on the forms and took my time making sure I understood. Dr. Scalicky was very professional but still personable. He was very thorough explaining everything and genuinely listened to my questions. I can't tell you what a relief it is to finally FINALLY have a doctor that listens and responds politely without making me feel judged in any way. I definitely appreciated that he never got frustrated or rushed me when I had to ask some questions a few times until I got it. I left feeling confident that Dr. Scalicky understood exactly what I wanted and could do exactly that. It was such a relief to feel like I'm in excellent hands! Even checking out was great. The receptionist double tripled checked the paperwork for me and was super friendly the whole time. Usually at doctor offices I feel rushed to get out so the next person can come in or I'm met with irritation if I have any questions. It's happened to me so much that I was genuinely blown away that she was friendly, kind and patient about checking the paperwork. It seems like little things but simple kindness makes such a difference. I felt heard, understood, and everyone spoke to me like an actual person (and not just another patient to deal with). Bucks County Plastic Surgery & Dermatology and Dr. Derosa are fantastic! First, the wait time is short which is awesome! The staff is top notch, super friendly and organized. I am a new patient at the Newtown office and was able to schedule a next day appointment (my husband's dermatology office in Yardley wouldn't take me for over 5 months). New patients' forms and info can be filled out electronically at home before your appointment so you don't have to spend 15 minutes doing it when you get there. Yay technology! Dr. Derosa diagnosed my problem and completely alleviated the fears I had that it might have been something worse. She was very thorough especially with my take-home instructions. She has a great personality and a great sense of humor. Special thanks to Dee at the Doylestown office. She went above and beyond to arrange for Dr. Derosa to call my prescriptions in to 2 different pharmacies which saved me $90. Dee was one of the happiest and most genuinely friendly people I've encountered at a doctor office (and she remained happy and friendly even after I called her 5 times). Very upset with this place! As to I know they are some of the best! Last Friday I had a free consultation and In order to book the apt you pay 500 dollars now mind you they never disclosed it was non refundable and the paper work I have says if I cancel within the first 14 days they keep 100 dollars and you get the rest back! I call back this Monday to cancel and for them to tell me that it's not refundable ! I am beyond upset and not just that they have the nerve to call me back and say they would take 1000 dollars off the price no I canceled the apt for a reason ! read more

Do NOT trust Bucks County Plastic Surgery as a 'safe' place to go. The surgeons are not a group--they are instead just individual surgeons that happen to rent space at BCPS. This means that, although some of these surgeons may be very good--even excellent--there are some that are, in my opinion, incompetent and highly untrustworthy. My family doctor recommended BCPS to me for plastic surgery for breasts and abdominoplasty. I trusted my family doctor's referral. Unfortunately I ended up with Dr. Benjamin Lam, the worst, most uncaring and most untrustworthy physician I have ever ever encountered in my life. He disregarded my decision regarding breast surgery and gave me implants so huge that they make me look like a freak. Now he will take no responsibility for his errors and has never offered me a revision. He is nothing like Dr. Salicky, a nice doctor at BCPS. So do not assume that all surgeons at Bucks County Plastic Surgery are good ones. And, family physicians, do NOT refer your patients to BCPS without cautioning your patients to research each surgeon individually. BCPS is no guarantee that you will get a good surgeon. read more

I recently had a visit with Kaitlyn Nelson and I am obsessed! Everyone that works in the office is extremely friendly, with a calm environment. We first had a consultation, where she answered all my questions and addressed my concerns to the fullest. I was more than ready and excited for my appointment, so I moved it up a week! I had my lips plumped + lifted and they are beyond PERFECT, and pouty!!! The best part is; it didn't even hurt :). Had a skin analysis and new patient hydrafacial with Maggie and she is great! Unfortunately the way they explain pricing is a little deceiving. I scheduled a skin consultation and there was a $100 deposit that they said can be put towards future treatment if I decide to do anything they recommend at the consultation. I had to reschedule it three times due to their providers schedules changing which is all good but at some point during the process this new patient hydrafacial was mentioned so I assumed that is what they did as part of the skin consultation. It was never mentioned that it's a separate procedure that you will have to pay for it so I ended up leaving paying $400 when I thought I was just getting a skin consultation. If I knew I was paying I definitely wouldn't have chose to do the facial or at the very least would have liked to be more prepared for the expense! Would have kept going there for treatments because I enjoyed Maggie but I don't appreciate the unclear communication because it's clear their main goal is to get you to spend money. Just ask your questions before scheduling/agreeing to anything so you aren't blindsided like I was :) read more

EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED, I've been a client for many years. I received SmartLipo in July 2018, to fix my belly bottom which the skin was looser and to help with my bottom area. After healing Dr.Skalicky and I noticed I developed a large shelf (big indentation) on my right side above belly button that I NEVER had before. So we had to do a revision in March 2019... mind you the revision was done at office under no anesthesia just numbing , process was horrible and extremely painful and made things worse. Fast forward to now January 2020 , shelf is still there belly button is complete sad face , 2 things I never had before. This was suppose to help me with Confidence but I haven't been able to enjoy this because of how horrible it looks and you can see everything even with clothes on bc it's right at my pant line at top. After speaking with his wife Lisa on phone , it kinda just ended with "Well I'm so sorry your disappointed but thx so much for letting us know". Would you want to go under another revision, after your last one made things worse?!!! Now After paying THOUSANDS of dollars I will have to get more procedures done else where to fix someone else work.Cross Medical has offered to start with free non invasive to see if it can help me but I have a feeling I will have to pay for tummy tuck. read more
