I have never had such a all-around poor experience with a company. I started my service roughly 3…read moreyears ago. I was sold the product under the guise of the cost of equipment being included in the monthly service fee. Turns out that is not true, whatever equipment you need for your house is built into a separate loan with a external company. Which ultimately leads you to spending thousands of dollars on a cheap android tablet, a handful of average quality home cameras and a doorbell. The actual security service is incredibly slow. It takes far too long for any doorbell or video notification to come through for the notification to actually be useful, and in the few instances that my alarm actually did it go off for a legitimate reason it took far too long before I actually received a call from vivint, your house will be robbed and empty or engulfed in flames before Vivint takes action to help you. The real world timing of this service is just not actually useful. Finally, good luck canceling your service. You will have to play games of telephone confirming with your loan company that you have paid for your equipment. They will have to send documentation that your equipment is paid for to Vivint. You will have to pay a early cancellation fee. Mine was about $250. Once they get done trying to convince you to upgrade your service to their newest product/ move your system to a new home/ try and convince the new owners to pay for the remaining service, they will tell you that they are going to send an email from documents@vivint.com. That you will have to copy and paste and send back to documents@vivint.com. I unfortunately was able to get to this step having not paid the early cancellation fee and was charged for two extra months of service because there was no communication back from Vivint that there was a problem with my cancellation. Stay away from this company, they will turn you into an angry human.

Dont buy this system. They are a rip off. They take your credit card and then keep charging it…read more There are a lot better systems and this company is not trust worthy.

A rep came out a +year ago, I gave her the information, and after several sale pitches and my consistent response of "Not interested" she punched in a cpl of numbers on the security pads and said no problem and left. Last week the power went out and every time the door to the garage was opened a chime/chirping went off in two of the security pads. I was one the phone w/ADT for over an hour today trying to get help. I was transferred from "technical services" to SAlES who told me I had a balance for over a hundred dollars and kept trying so sell more services. I told"Rich" in sales/accounting I had not gotten a bill in 8 years!!! I spent 20 minutes telling Rich I WAS NOT INTERESTED IN ANOTHER SUBSCRIPTION WITH ADT, he said it would take about 30 days for the service to be disconnected, and was finally transferred BACK to "FAY" in Technical services (?) Another 20 minutes being told they could NOT send a service rep out until to help with chirping the bill was paid and it would cost another +$100.00 for a rep to come out. Instead "Fay" in technical services wanted me to get a screw drive and a step ladder and find the transformer and battery in the basement to disconnect it myself.!!!

Service is security alarm, the quality is as expected and the service is good. I recommend.read more

The two installers showed up also on time and were quick and efficient. Even though they it wasn't part of the quote, they mounted the charger for me, and also installed the load management device into the panel (which was part of it). In the end, everyone else told me I had to get a new panel for $6k, and Austin and his team came up with a more affordable options and did an amazing job with installation. No surprises on the final price either.

I have no reservations in recommending this company. -------------------- I really wanted to give Just In Time a five-star review, because I genuinely think the issue I ran into was an honest mistake. Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed with how they handled that mistake. First, the good: I hired them to install a smart EV charger. They were super friendly, responsive, on-time, and the installation itself was fast and clean. Here's where things went sideways: they told me the job was complete, but the charger's controller--the part that actually makes it "smart"--was still sitting in the box. Without that piece installed, the whole point of the smart charger is lost. The technicians put me on the phone with the boss, who told me installing the rest of the components would be an additional $165. I was awfully annoyed, but I didn't really have any choice at that point. My issue is simple: I was clear from the beginning about the exact charger I needed installed. I showed the estimator the box and confirmed that their quote covered installing and integrating the smart charger. Some people might call this a bait-and-switch, but I don't think that's what happened. I think they either misunderstood the charger when quoting or were just moving too fast. An honest mistake. But the "solution" was to charge me $165 more for something that took them less than fifteen minutes. They had an opportunity to either (A) complete the scope they quoted, or (B) at least try to work with me on the added fee. Instead, I got a shrug and a "take it or leave it."
