It's a fun trip down memory lane, though it doesn't fully capture the magic of the original stores from the 80s and 90s. The store is now franchised rather than corporately owned, which changes the feel a bit. Prices are on the higher side, and while there are some interesting and unique items, there weren't many Toys"R"Us exclusives beyond a Geoffrey the Giraffe pop. Still, the store is clean, organized, and has plenty to explore, whether you're a collector, a parent, or just a kid at heart. A nostalgic stop, but not quite the full experience of the original Toys"R"Us. The guy at the front door was really nice.

Harvey has launched this place to new heights and has been friendly to all involved (He is a great Dungeon Master for D&D, especially for the little ones new to the game). The place is kept tidy, and and all is organized in an effective manner for your comic searching pleasure. In terms of stock for things other than comics, they have a selection that I see as mediocre at best at times, though this is likely due to supply and demand, especially now considering everything going on. Necessary D&D minis were sometimes hard to come across even before this. Overall, the Multiverse is a great place to stop in my experience. I saw reviews saying that you had to take a clipboard and write things down; now it is pick things up and scan at the front. Yes a number of things seem like things you can get from a particular online company ... but I love that we can come here, look at the things and if we only need a few things not have to meet a certain amount to get free shipping. Its a great place to get things for parties, school events, Fish Extenders/Pixie dust on cruises. They have a whole area for ducks you can get for your Jeep owners or Cruise fans!

But honestly, if you are traveling with kids, then you can't do everything with limited hours too with this outlet store in an industrial park. First, this place is near industrial park so it is a journey to navigate to find this hidden gem. Once you find it, you got to find the outlet entrance is way in back. There is a small awning with Mattel store where you will see double doors to open to pallets of toys. There are bathrooms to the side and also baskets and carts. Signs will tell you what the sale is going on and also limited edition toys will have separate signs on discount and limits. Generous discounts but do your homework on Amazon to make sure you are getting better deal since a lot of toys are retired. American girls and Barbie's have limited editions if your girls are fans. We noticed the latest movie toys like he-man has smaller discount but still decent selection. There is random rack with clothing and bags which is different. My son loves hot wheels and Minecraft and some of the things we haven't seen on clearance. If you need help, workers are there to help which is nice. Also inventory changes as the doors in the back goes to the factory floor so they will bring new items on pallet to mark down. Checkout lanes were more than one and also workers make sure to check and make sure all are discounted. If you spend enough then you can get one of their surplus items for a small price like $10. We bought a Christmas gift that literally broke while we were still opening gifts. This was gifted to a gentle kid who was not using it outside of the expected use, and a piece broke off. I took it back to the store and the employee man-splained to me that even though it was broken, it still worked. He actually located the item on Amazon to show me what part was missing. I LITERALLY WATCHED IT BREAK. It was beyond insulting. I finally said that if he wasn't going to exchange or refund, Id like to leave (he kept the item this entire time and wasnt giving it back). Additionally, we bought a lionel item for a family member who had a duplicate. They had a record of the sale in the computer and still found a way to deny an exchange of an unopened item. Stores like this are why Amazon thrives. Even when I try to buy from the little guys, they find a way to make me regret it.

The first one was a blue train with Lego details . The second one was a Jake from Jake and the neverland pirates. When I asked Antonio if he could do them he brought up pictures on his lap top asked if that was what I had in mind and told me it was "not a problem" he could do them both. He asked me what size I needed and explained about how large the pinates would be and told me he could have them both ready in one months time. He even stated that he could do a pinate for an adults party. He called 2 days prior to when I needed the pinates and stated that they were both ready. When I picked them up I could not believe how good they both looked. The train was bright blue with black wheels and Legos decals. Jake the pirate had a blue vest, a sword, and a parrot on his shoulder. They were perfect. Both children were thrilled when they saw them. Then comes the fun part of breaking the pinate. The pinates were so well made that each child had several turns hitting the pinate. The pinate stick was broken in half on each pinate. Before the pinate was broken open. These pinates are so well made. Antonio was very nice and easy to work with and did exactly what he said he would do and fulfilled the order early. The price was more then I would have paid if I had ordered from a big box store but those pinates break apart to easily and not every one gets a turn with the stick to hit the pinate. With Antonio I was able to get the exact pinate that was wanted. I will definetly order more pinates from Antonio and is Out of this world Pinates store.

The adults were supervising from a distance. The layout of the store could be improved. A couple aisles were dead ends which caused some difficulty with ease of movement. Character-themed Hasbro games were solely placed on a top-most shelf. The items on the lower shelves were from independent manufacturers. One of the character-based games caught my eye. Fortunately, one of the young hires approached me at the right time. After pointing to the game, she excused herself, went to the back room to get a ladder and grabbed the game. If I had wanted one of the independently-published games, I could have it grabbed myself. Browsing the store with my hands full was cumbersome. The same employee offered to take the items to the register until I was ready to pay. When it was time to pay, I opted for their complimentary gift-wrapping. If there was a wait, they would have texted me.

They carry a large amount of Jellycats too! I was able to get a Jellycat that was sold out everywhere online. They charge the same prices you'd see on the Jellycat site.
