Stopped in for lunch on a weekday/workday... the staff there was all smiles and very happy to be there... in fact, the guy cooking the pizzas was enthusiastic to talk about his love of making pizzas! They have an amazing selection of fresh ingredients, veggies, sauces, etc to put on your pizza, salad or salad pizza. I'm torn between a 3 and a 4. I ordered a spicy chick sausage and mushroom pizza. The crust was VERY crispy so flaked everywhere, but it arrived cold via Door Dash. I reheated it in my oven, so that may have been the cause. I also ordered the "no name cake" and I realized why it has no name. It's a hostess Ding Dong and it would be illegal to call it such. It's just as much a crime to charge over $2 for one wrapped in foil! It was good...don't get me wrong, but in dating and in desserts, a ding dong is a ding dong no matter how you wrap it. read more

This is not my first time going to a MOD pizza location. I came here because it's closer to where I do most of my shopping nowadays. I ate here, back to back for 2 days, because it really is that gosh darn good. Here's my take: I ordered the exact same thing that I got from the other MOD pizza location (Gainesville), the Calexico. The difference is that this time I was actually able to taste the gorgonzola on my pizza, which is fantastic. I love strong cheeses and it's always a bummer when you can't taste them on your pizza. The service was quick and friendly, though I did find it funny that the employees only had their COVID masks on in a way that covers their mouth, but not their nose. I personally am not paranoid about getting sick but I do find it amusing whenever people are wearing their masks wrong. It's a very comfy location to eat at though, even if they can't accommodate an outdoor eating area like the other location. Not that it really mattered cause it was like 90 degrees outside. The second time I ate here, the next day, an employee was making food while making a phone call on his wireless headphones. He was wearing his mask to obscure what he was doing, which again, was amusing. My food was not quite as good the next day though, the crust wasn't as crispy. When the crust comes out crispy it's the best pizza in town. No one else even comes close right now. They have some tacky political stuff on the wall at this location as well. Good pizza no doubt however I really didn't like how the cashier used the same gloves to ring an order up then went back to make another pizza wearing the same gloves!! It's so unhygienic. Gloves are super cheap and it takes 15 seconds to change a pair. If anything there should be one person who's only responsibility to ring up orders and the others make the pizza. I want to start by saying it pains my heart to make a review like this because I genuinely try to go out of my way to support black owned/operated businesses but the customer service I received today at MOD Pizza was terrible. Today I ordered four pizzas for my family and we only initially received 3/4 pizzas. I waited a couple of minutes, before going to the pizza pickup line because the pizza we were missing was the first pizza to go in the oven. I let them know that we were still missing one pizza and the employee said to give them a minute. I waited one minute. And before I knew it I waited 20 minutes. I went back to the receiving area, once again, to ask about my missing and four employees (2 of which were managers) were in a chaotic frenzy trying to hand out pizzas. I waited until some of the customers retrieved their pizzas to ask about my missing pizza. No one acknowledged me, despite making eye contact with me. I then asked "do I need to go through the line again," in which one of the employees said "Uhh probably." At this point I'm aggravated because I've been waiting for a pizza for 45 minutes now, and none of the staff seemed interested in trying to resolve the issue. I was forced to go through the pizza line again (an additional 15 minutes) as I had to wait at the end of the already established line. When I went through the line again, the girl making the pizzas asked if she did something wrong because she was curious as to why I was back in the line. I let her know that they "lost" my pizza and asked if a manager was available and she pointed out two employees identifying them as the general and store manager. When my name was called for the pizza this time, I asked the store manager (young man in a beanie) whom was actively boxing pizzas if I could make a suggestion. He said yes and even stopped to listen. I was polite in making my suggestion, as I was just letting them know that the current process they had was chaotic and that they would benefit from using a screen or kiosk to announce the orders. (A lot of people had issues hearing/understanding the person calling out the orders, and there was another Kyle waiting on pizzas so that caused some confusion as well). Before he could even respond the general manager (in a red shirt and hat), interrupted from behind him and nastily responded "WE HAVE FOUR PEOPLE WORKING ON PIZZAS! Our process isn't chaotic, it's fine!" I was in shock because I was genuinely trying to provide constructive feedback and the employees all looked miserable and overwhelmed. Now I can see why the employees were in such a frenzy. If the general manager treats their customers like this, then I can only imagine how he's treating his staff. His attitude was horrible, and while I was extremely displeased with the service I received, I especially felt sorry for the staff operating under this man. Also, I wanted to mention that not once throughout this ordeal did anyone 1. Apologize for losing our pizza/wasting our time or 2. Offer an incentive to rectify the situation. You would think that because they lost the pizza, they would have at least expedited the process to get us a new pizza, but no. Nothing. Worse customer service I've ever experienced and because we had to wait 50+ minutes for one pizza, all the other pizzas were cold. We've been to other MOD Pizzas and have never experienced this type of service. Overall, I give them a 2.5/5. Good pizza per usual, but the customer service and workflow was not up to par. Not sure if I'll be returning, but if I do then I will update this review. read more

She got all the toppings she asked for, while I got this pizza with barely anything on it. 1-2 pepperonis per slice, some tomatoes, cheese, random corn. Only missing some toppings, mushrooms, green bell peppers, and pork chorizo. Definitely needs some quality control. I should've checked the box before leaving, or just done a normal in person order. My only objection was the Canadian bacon wasn't cooked long enough...next time l will just skip it... Maybe I was having an off day. Maybe it was just what I ordered. I normally love pizza and I was totally looking forward to eat here. Upon crossing the street and a few steps away from the door I could just smell the deliciousness of the pizza sauce. We arrived shortly before 6pm and there was no line. We were greeted by two employees and the young lady explained the pizza sizes to us. My boyfriend and I ordered the smaller ones and a lemonade. I ordered the calxeico, it had mozzarella, gorgonzola, chicken, jalapenos, hot buffalo sauce, and red sauce. I love spicy so didn't mind the jalapenos and I wanted to dip the pizza in the hot sauce. I added roasted garlic on mine as well. The pizza as a whole was ok, I feel that if it was made with just mozzarella instead of gorgonzola that it would be even better it just was a strange mix of flavors with the cheese. My boyfriend had ordered the Tristan, it had mozzarella, asiago, roasted red peppers, mushrooms, pesto. He really enjoyed it, it was a little wet in places but the flavors matched very perfectly. I'm not a mushroom fan but I tasted his and it was really good. The lemonade was just a little on the sour side but nothing a sugar packet couldn't fix. I enjoyed MOD more than &pizza. Lots of different toppings. Only reason I am giving 4 and not 5, is because I asked for arugula on top, not baked, so once finished to top. I didn't receive any arugula at all. Still great pizza! I got the regular mod crust and it was so soft and delicious, similar to an Italian style pizza. I loved that when choosing garlic, they give you a lot! It was great. Wow! The customer service was amazing and the pizza was reasonably priced. The restaurant itself is clean and hip with good seating options. The bathrooms were super clean, pizza was delicious, but nothing compares to their customer service. I appreciate the fact that they made me feel welcomed and were very helpful with my pizza decisions, as they have multiple options. They even offer military discounts on top of all of that. The perfect size custom made pizza! This place is great, so easy, you go down the line telling them what you want on your pizza. First you choose crust, sauce, and cheese then meats, veggies and after its baked you can choose a finishing sauce. They have labels so its easy to know what each thing is. I love the regular size pizza crust, its a big enough surface size to enjoy a variety of your favorite toppings and its also not thick in which you don't feel overly stuffed with bread. There are different pizzas which are called classic pizza, I chose the Jasper which had red sauce, mozzarella, mushy and spicy sausage. The pizza was made fast and the staff were polite and eager to serve. The restaurant was blowing cold air thru the vents ...not recommended for cold November temperature. Food was delicious but got cold fast. The restaurant still offers classic salads also. A simple, deluxe or a Caesar. More stuff includes strip & dip and dessert. I will return another day! (P.S.
