I love this place. They are called by many the "subway of Pizza" but subway is low quality and Mod Pizza is not. They have quality ingredients. I usually order online and get the Gluten free crust which is thin and crispy. I load up on topping and appreciate they use nitrate free meats. 1 pizza is usually enough to feed me twice so it's a good value. They have lots of drink options as well with beer on tap, wine, milk shakes, sodas, and specialty iced teas. The staff is always so friendly too. The pizza is done quickly and you make them make it. MOD pizza is a build it the way you like it pizza place. They have individual pizzas as well as some that are large enough to share. The older I get the less I seem to enjoy pizza so having MOD as an option to get a smaller pizza that isn't all dough is a very nice option. They have a wide range of pre-determined menu options. I ordered the Mad Dog which is more or less a meat lovers pizza. However, I quickly added spinach, basil, garlic, bacon, and gorgonzola. If you are not familiar with gorgonzola, it is a sharp blue cheese pizza. if you do not like blue cheese, I would avoid this on your pizza. I little goes a very long way. All four of us ordered mini's and three of us ordered drinks. The total cost was approximately $27.00 which I didn't think was too bad for what you got. I will say that having a pizza with a thin crust that is only 6" didn't fill me up but I need to cut back anyway so I made it work. Be warned that your cell service will not be good in the restaurant so you may have to put your phone down and have a conversation with the rest of your party **GASP**. I know...old school conversations are like...what? Reserved steel barricaded motorcycle parking is available in the front parking area This was our first time here but we will be back. Another assembly line pizza joint and it's taken up residency in League City! For those who lack imagination (or are too tired to think), they have pizza creations that you can choose from or you can build your own. I think my 2 favorite things about MOD are: 1) They have different sizes for different appetites. 2) The crust is super thin & crispy I opted the for the Calexico but left off the gorgonzola, as it's too overwhelming for a pizza IMO. It was so super tasty and since the crust is so thin, it's not super filling. You can also do a pizza salad so that you skip the carbs. A great addition to the area! read more

I came to this place when it first opened and swore I would never be back. It was overrun with children who do not understand the concept of not screaming at the top of your lungs while indoors. Fast forward a couple of years later and I had business to do in the same strip mall and needed something quick so I decided to give this place another try. It was around 6 pm or so and I was pleasantly surprised...mostly adults who acted as one does in a public place. I sat in my booth and read a book, happy to enjoy the silence. It didn't last. Within a half hour anyone who had ever decided to breed ever within a 5 mile radius decided to show up and it became louder than a heavy metal concert with screaming, wailing, and crying. The pizza is good but the atmosphere is terrible. I should have just gotten my food to go. Never again. read more

Here for the Grand Opening and cant believe how smooth this place is running. Greeted with smiling faces and helpful employees, its clear the management team has created an environment that they can be proud of. The pizza here is out of this world. Fresh, made to order, brick oven style pizzas are done by the time you pay. No matter how many toppings you get the price is the same. For just $7.87 you get your own 11 inch pie...no sharing required! This place is a must try and a great edition to the community being built along 96 in League City. The only reason I even give this place one star is because I read reviews and talked with neighbors who had been there recently. I cannot,for the life of me, have ever so disappointed. When they advertise it as being a thin crust, believe it! Hubby went to pick up an online order. They could not find my order. I had never encountered a assembly line pizza place. We finally got what was a totally disappointing eleven inch pizzaZ. The toppings slid off the crust and and fell in a pile back on the card board box. I managed to finish one slice and did not even attempt another one. They also have a extreme lack of parking. They may be the closest place to where I live, but our other choice sells a much better product. read more

We love eating here for a weekend lunch; really great pizza that is fresh, and hot. However, lately they do not have any sundried tomatoes, or artichoke hearts to add to your pizza. We really miss those toppings. read more

Went there for lunch and let me tell you... 3-4 workers look like they were mad at the world. i wont be surprised if I hear some kind of workplace violence at this place. They were extremely rude to the customers including kids. read more

Ordered online. For League City Parkway store, League City, TX.They gave driver for DoorDash wrong order at first. She caught it and corrected then they gave her incorrect order number order amount and address. Luckily I could call DoorDash driver and giver her correct address and directions. I asked and store did not giver her tip I gave them online. Pizza was cold and soggy and the chocolate cake dessert was an oversized Ding Dong. I will never order from them again. Terrible pizza and service! DoorDash was great! Never again. read more

First time here, was not a good experience. My husband and I walked in and a lady with green hair looked at me up and down and instead of greeting us walks away like she was mad she had customers. Instead a Nice gentleman wearing a beanie with a pizza slice greeted us and made great pizza ( he and the pizza are the only reason this place is getting a couple of stars) The restaurant was fine the pizzas for good got a very sour taste in my mouth from that young lady definitely did not feel welcomed back. read more

New to League City, friend recommended. 1st experience - paid for dessert but did not get in delivery. Pizza was good though. Manager stated would give free pizza next order due to shorting my order. A month later, called in for delivery and after employee fumbled around for about 10 minutes, manager Tiffany got on phone. I just wanted to order and pay, and she would not take my order but instead directed me to their App for delivery since they don't have delivery drivers. Huh? Anyway, too much time wasted so ordered from one of the many other great local pizza places. Ask for Mitch at Prime Pizza, AMAZING. read more

The idea of customizing my pizza and it coming out so hot with the cheese stringy is awesome. The pizza itself tasted petter than the large franchise chains but not the best that I've had. The wait was a little too long, the staff were a bit unorganized, and I'm sure they could enhance their process. However, they all were super nice and i did like their customer service. read more

2nd and last time visiting this location. David the manager needs some customer service training and proper hygiene training. It's completely disappointing and unacceptable to have a manager and his employee joke with a pizza cutter that is being used to slice pizzas and touch David's hairy arms. How disgusting. I wish I was joking but I'm not. Secondly, David the manager took my sister's payment and then proceeded to not only cut pizzas and touch the paper of where my sister's pizza was going to be at and then go back and take more payment. Again, disgusting!! Lastly, the girl who actually cut my sisters pizza hand "accidentally" touched my sister's pizza. Who knows where her hands were previously. Again, disgusting and she wasn't going to say anything even though she knew that she touched it. Lastly, I was there this past Friday and it was my first time at MOD's. I've been to Blaze Pizza several times and love it!! Friday was my first encounter with the manager David and it left much to be desired. Clearly I'm not used to the proceeder with MOD's because it was my first time. At BLAZE, at the end you tell them if you want additional sauce on top after it comes out of the over. It wasn't stated otherwise, so I assumed since no one asked it was the same process. So I asked the guy to please add some pesto sauce and the manager David was next him... being rude and nonchalant. Overall, will avoid this location UNLESS you like bare dirty hands to touch your food and for the manager to not apologize for the lack of cleanliness. Two thumbs down!! read more

Absolutely the best pizza. The crust is cooked just perfect. The toppings are always fresh. Its a treat for me when the family dines there because everyone can get what they want on their pizza. I prefer more veggies less meat. Spinach peppers to die for out of this world delicious, pineapple and pepperonie. The only reason l won't give them 5 stars is because they aren't down the street from my home. read more

The food is good, but they have some service issues to workout. I assume this place is just having some kinks to work out with being a new restaurant and will end up being a great addition to the neighborhood. The food overall was very good. There's only one basic size of pizza served on a very thin crust (tortilla thin). With our family of five, everyone of us had blackened spots on our crust. It wasn't enough to bother me like some other reviewers. The large size is just a double layered pizza with the lower layer just getting cheese and sauce; this dilutes the ratio of toppings to pizza and I wouldn't recommend it. Next time if my teens are that hungry, I'll pay the few bucks extra to get them an extra pizza. If you're looking for a value pizza, the thin crust and light toppings (unless you add a lot of variety) doesn't satisfy large appetites. As far as service goes, this place still needs work. The employees didn't have an efficient assembly line working. They were skipping around on the pizzas being ordered versus handling one customer at a time. There was confusion on what orders took priority and with all of the confusion I ended up with a couple missing ingredients. There was one older worker who seemed to be adding to the chaos and was the only one who had a negative attitude. Hopefully this guy is a worker and not a manager or owner or just having an off night. Things would have been better if he took a less active roll. We'll definitely be back and I assume the next visit will be even better than the first! read more

We live nearby and visit here often. It is like subway, but for pizza. You choose your size and then pick your toppings and they cook it right there. I always get the mini size, but everyone else gets the MOD. Usually the staff is friendly, but sometimes seem bothered that we come in late around 10 after soccer games when they stay open til 11. My daughter loves their lemonade and they have some limited wine selections and craft beer for the adults. I love the feel of this place. Plenty of seating and even an outdoor space with umbrellas. read more

We are regular customers and today was the first really bad experience we have had. The food was delicious but the girl working the counter today at lunch clearly hates her customers. She was very rude and very hateful to me. The guys were all great. If not for them we would have walked out. She did not have a name tag but was covered in tattoos and very heavy set with shoulder length dark brown hair. She was just flat out MRAN!!!!! read more

Great thin crust pizza. My husband said it was comparable to the pizza he ate while living in Italy. He had the Bob pizza and loved it. His only complaint was it was a little burnt but not so much that it ruined the pizza. I had the Caspian I really liked it. I'm not sure how I feel about gorgonzola on pizza. I love gorgonzola but I felt it was a little strong. There wasn't a huge amount on the pizza so it wasn't overwhelming gorgonzola with each bite. I also wish the red onion had been chopped. There were four rings placed on the pizza and having a bite of the onion made the pizza taste that much better but because it was in ring form you weren't given onion throughout the entire pizza unless you cut it up yourself as I did. Aside from those small things which weren't a huge deal the pizza was amazing. I plan on trying their pizza again. They had a nice selection of specialty pizzas I want to give a try. The girl at the counter was very nice and opened.each box to make sure my order was correct. I ordered and paid online and was in and out in less than 5 minutes. When standing at the check out you can see the wood burning oven they use and see into the kitchen, it was similar to when you visit subway. Everything was very clean and if you dine in you can see them make and bake your pizza. We had the 11 inch pizza, my husband ate all.of his and a little of mine. Just to give some size specifications. It was cut into 4 pieces but could easily be made it and 8 slice pizza of small to Reg slices. Definitely would recommend and will be going back. The prices were great too! read more

I wasn't really sure what to expect. This place has stayed really busy since it opened. I just wanted some quick dinner that wasn't fast food. So...great service! Very helpful staff! It's a different kind of pizza joint. They make it all on the spot and it doesn't take too long. Very reasonable prices. Start with a suggestion from the menu and add all the toppings you want (no extra charge). Really, it was a great pizza! Thin and crispy! And pretty fast service! Fresh, thick toppings! I'd recommend it and will be returning! read more

More importantly, the person in the corporate marketing department who decided that bone-in chicken shouldn't be an option in this neck of the woods might want to collaborate with colleagues at other chicken chains that have realized great national success AND include strips on the menu. It's a west coast Mexican food spot that claims they are the creators of the California burrito, which is a burrito made with fries inside. They are also known for their large portions at a very reasonable price. It opened up earlier this year in the Kemah area. They took over what was once a Sonic drive thru. I came on a Saturday morning. I expected it to be busy but not as busy as it was. You can order through the drive thru or walk inside like I did. The space inside is super small and when I was there, it was shoulder to shoulder with people trying to order and wait for their food. There's a few tables inside as well and a salsa bar which just makes it feel very crowded. With it being that busy, I wasn't expecting great customer service, but the staff took their time to explain the menu and did it with a smile. I'm a sucker for a good breakfast burrito and that is what I got. They serve their whole menu all day and even stay open until midnight. You can get their breakfast burritos with steak, machaca, ham, bacon, sausage, chorizo or even vegetarian. I went with the Crazy burrito which came with ham, bacon, sausage, potatoes, egg and cheese. I also ordered a pineapple Agua Fresca to wash it all down with. I found a little table on their patio because I wasn't about to eat a messy burrito in the car or wait to make it home to do so. As expected with how busy it was, it took awhile for the food to come out. The burrito was massive, almost the size of my forearm. I typically wouldn't cut it in half but I did so I can take a pic for the people. This thing was packed with all the ingredients listed and they did not skimp on one thing. I felt the quality of the ingredients was great too. The bacon was perfectly crisp and in larger chunks which gave the burrito some texture too. The flour tortilla was fresh and delicious as well. The Agua Fresca was just ok, it didn't wow me. On top of the breakfast options, they have combination plates, burritos, tacos, enchiladas, tortas, tostadas, and quesadillas. Overall, I thought it was well worth the drive to Kemah to try this place out and I can see myself doing it again from time to time. I will be back.
