As a specialist in beef, the place knows their business making the visits enjoyable and stress-free. This time was of no exception. We ordered, first time, filet bacanora, and what a nice experience it was, including entertaining final preparation at table. Tender, tasty, and generous portion accompanied by delicious sides. Palominos house red wine combined perfectly with the treat.

La Patrona Del Gordo is a rustic, folkloric, very nice Mexican restaurant about 10-15 minutes…read moredriving distance to the north from the Hermosillo City, at the pure entrance of San Pedro village. The seating area is located at a semi-open installment which serves also larger groups. The food is fantastic, northern style and authentic. My favorite of all the delicious plates is the chamorro, oven baked lamb shank which is so tender it just falls apart from the bone. It is juicy and decently spicy, and is my reference -- exactly here in this small village -- compared to any other I have tasted in the Americas continent. The menu includes a good variety of local food and drinks. You can enjoy also the cazuela cocktail, a generous serving of fruit-based luquids and tequila mix. There is live music performed on Saturday and Sunday afternoons around 2pm, making this place the spot to relax over an excellent quality food.

If I could raise beyond 5 stars or give some Michelin rating I would lol. The value and portions were superb. As was the freshness, flavor variety. The menu is extensive! Now they offer breakfast. (Had I know that during my visit!) I will try that later. Cold beer, great tacos, I jad the best spicy octopus taco of my life. Check tje pictures. And a fresh seafood plate plus a tostada. The tostada seems something they custom, Id advice to constantly check that quality as mine was not as crunchy as I expected. (Not sure of the custom part took away crunch). But a mini detail compared to my whole experience. Sushi rolls, cooked seafood plates, tacos, tostadas, ceviches, fresh cold seafood plates, specialty plates, OMG menu is huge and great! Some entreees will blow your mind and some are basic recipes that will allow you to appreciate simple yet fresh flavors. Love this place at the two locations I know. Parking at the front and side, an amazing terrace and an air conditioning area. I cannot express the great pleasure and it continues to be one of my all time favorites wheter their Hermosillo or Obregon branches which are the only two I have visited. Before entry they run covid check up and have a wet mat to clean shoe soles.

An amazing experience twice served!…read more I was in town for Alex's wedding, a very good friend and a food lover to say the least. He took the family and myself to Reforma the day we arrived and it was a warm welcome. The coffee is amazing the food, especially the huevos Shukshuaka (sp) was delicious! The Shukshuka was fresh and delightful with a delicious slice of bread or as the locals call pan used to soak up the sauce. An introduction to the meal was delicious pastries and a fruit plate with granola and cottage cheese. The papaya, pineapple, melon, and apples glistened with a drizzle of honey that shimmered in the late morning ambient light. A very classy atmosphere Reforma has a rustic look that screams Mexican ranch style hacienda featured in an Architectural Digest. My second experience at Reforma was the day afterward, where we were met with the same delightful service. After switching my decision from pan elotes to chilaquiles, I again had an incredible experience filled with many refills of beautiful coffee and a refreshing fresh squeezed glass of strawberry juice. Two glasses sufficed but I wish I had more!!!!
