Armando was another waiter who impressed me as he was ensuring every wineglass was spotless. Restaurants in Mexico offer a purse stand that is nice and classy for women to hang their purse. Now to the main event, the food! My wife with her small appetite, ordered the shrimp bathed in a sweet tamarind sauce which she loved and enjoyed. She had the tequila Don Julio 70 served (a las banderitas) accompanied by sangrita and lemon juice which represent the colors of the Mexican flag. I can only speak for the beet and the octopus and shrimp tacos but after living in Mexico for almost 3 years, I can say these were the best tacos I've ever had. The tortillas were the thickest I've had (called gorditas in Sonora) and so fresh. Borderline pita bread or naan bread texture. Only having 3-4 wine options by the glass was a little disappointing considering "wine bar" is in their business title, but at least the wine I did have was delicious and well stored.
