When I got to the car there was still trash inside, dirt on the floor, dirt in between the seats, streaks of cleaning supplies and finger prints left on the windows, and dirt in the cup holder. I need to find a detail shop in NY because we wanted to get my father's car cleaned up so my can get the most for the car as a trade-in. I called Clean Image; Jack answers the phone and we made an appointment to bring the car to him in Huntington for an estimate. My father brings the car to Jack, I was able to speak to Jack over the phone via Facetime. The interior has four years of cigarette smoke build up. The interior is gray, but when we dropped it off to Jack, it was tan. Jack was very professional and very detailed. He showed me the equipment that he uses to shampoo the fabric and carpet. He showed me the chemicals he uses to clean the interior. His recommendation for the ozone to kill the cigarette smell, and offer to run the ozone for an hour. Priced very reasonable. and I would highly recommend Jack. Being three hundred miles away, he provided me with regular updates, sending me photos of his progress to keep me in the loop. The sign for the different washes and prices was NOT posted when you pulled in, so when the attendant said regular wash, I said, "OK." It turned out it was $37 for a regular wash. The car came out, and one attendant was drying the car. They DID NOT vacuum, but that should have been included! The car looks like crap and I paid $37. I went to the cashier to inquire, and he didn't speak English or pretended not to know what I was talking about. So, I just left and vowed NEVER to go back. EVER.

But one day I was passing by Hicksville and saw this handwashing location. I decided to give it a try. Now I've been to some very reputable handwash places. Blues is definitely one of them. He takes his time and he cares. So I decided to get my car ceramic coated. I did go ask couple of places but none of them gave me the reassurance I was looking for. Keep in mind you don't want to mess this up since it is a semi permanent product. He took care of my car, all the swirls, took his time. He even did my calipers, exhaust tips, wheels. Overall the experience was amazing. I will recommend to anyone who is looking for a honest detailer who will put in that effort for your car.
