Because of the pandemic, a major need for face masks surfaced. There haven't been enough of the n-95 masks for everyone, not even enough for the medical professionals and other front-line workers. Then people started sewing the cloth masks. I still personally couldn't find any available, but had a small supply of disposable masks my Doctor's office had given me in late February. But those are one-use masks and although I was only emerging from my home when absolutely necessary, they were running out. i heard about this store via a Louisville-oriented Facebook group I'm in. Someone was saying they had some cloth masks. So I went to that corner and drove among the businesses in the shopping area until i found this place. It's 2 doors to the left of the Nature Lab. indeed they have medical supplies of all varieties, and had a good selection of cloth masks in several sizes and colors. The white ones are $8 and the colored ones are $10. The people who work at the store and very knowledgable and helpful. They're out of hand sanitizer like everyone else but they are trying to get a shipment, by the way. I am happy to have one cloth face mask to wear and another to wear while washing it. I got a few for my daughter as well. As an older person, I was happy to see various items for people dealing with limited mobility and pain. The store is full of those types of items. They also have a large supply of compression socks.

There are no handicap spots to park in and the door is not automatic. They really need to hire more employees because both times I went in, I waited around for 5-10 minutes before someone acknowledged me and helped me. One employee was more concerned about helping the people calling on the phone than actually helping the customers standing in the store. When I picked up the equipment that I rented, the gentleman who helped me was very kind and made sure it was adjusted to my height. He even loaded it into my car for me. When I dropped it back off however, the woman who helped me took the equipment out of my trunk without even closing my trunk and left me standing outside on my crutches informing me I had to go back inside to sign off on the return. Again, an issue considering I was on crutches and they do not have automatic doors. The only reason I returned the equipment early is because I found a better scooter for free to complete my two months of non weight bearing. The equipment they provided was heavy and the breaks didn't work. It was a struggle to fold up and load into the car whenever I took it anywhere. The seat was stained and cracked. I would never recommend this place to anyone and I definitely won't be a repeat customer. The only positive I can say is that the store is clean and the staff is friendly once they decide to actually help you.

In November 2025, they replaced a hand brake cable that had broken. I was charged $40 in labor and nothing for parts as the limited five-year warranty for the cable was in effect. Less than two months later the same cable broke. When I called to ensure that they could fix it today if I brought it in, I was told that I would have to pay for parts and labor since the warranty only covers one repair per walker. That detail was not stated in my warranty information. I was transferred to the owner and was told to bring it in, and he could see what he could do. Upon arrival at the store, the owner came out of his office, made no eye contact, did not speak, and took the walker. As he was departing, I said that I had a question about the warranty. He replied, "I told you I would cover it." I said that my husband has severe MS and relies heavily on the walker. My intention was to try to understand what is and isn't covered by a warranty for a vital piece of equipment. I asked what a limited warranty covers. His reply was, "Whatever I decide to cover. If you drill out the hand brake, I won't cover it." I said that was not the case, and that we had not tried to repair the walker. He walked away with no further words. When I returned to pick up the repaired walker, I was told there would be no charge. The owner brought out the walker, asked me to test the brake, which I did and then he walked away. There was no apology. I purposefully purchased this walker from a local business, even thought it was much cheaper on Amazon. However, my experience with Mobility and Me demonstrated that they are all in on the sales, and don't want to deal with issues related to broken equipment. For people who are caring for disabled people who rely on equipment to live, this is the opposite of the type of experience we should receive.

I had just used up a tank of C25 (75% Argon, 25% CO2) from General Air Service & Supply in Fort Collins that cost me $127 (just for the gas). Went and exchanged it at Wagner for the exact same gas in the exact same amount. $67. That's half price, folks! So I asked about buying another cylinder, because it sucks when my sole tank runs out in the middle of work. They said they'd sell me one, but it would make a lot more sense to buy a used one on Craigslist or whatever and use it to exchange. And then they showed me where to look on the tank to make sure that it wasn't X'd out in a certain place that means the tank is unusable. Helpful people & great prices - I love this place!

He's got everything from the most basic wheelchair to fancy electric scooters, reachers, bathroom shower chairs/benches, slideboards, etc. Now besides how practical and affordable the equipment is... Chip, the owner, is super patient, kind, lets you explore your options with as much time and space you need, welcoming, answers any and every question you've got, and just loves to be a resource. Seriously, call and ask him all the equipment questions you want, even how to tinker and fix up your own stuff! Found him back in March 2021, (picked up a 16inch manual wheelchair, transfer tub bench, reacher, slideboard), returned some equipment today cuz my family is all healed up, and he's still the same! He goes WAY above and beyond to help figure out what might be the best fit for you. He isn't pushy in any way and he cares about his clients and their needs. He has spent endless hours helping me figure out what I need in terms of a scooter and has had the best advice. He isn't just trying to make a sale - he really wants to do what is best for you. He has listened to my crazy (my word - not his) needs and found something that will work for me. I used to hike and snowshoe until I was injured during a surgery. I now can't walk far at all, but still love the outdoors and the mountains.
