My sister and I went to look for a walker for our dad. Got there at 10:30 only to find out they didn't open until 11:00. We went down the block to a Walgreens but decided to go back to Mobility Plus. Arrived about 10:55. 11:00 came and no one was in the store. My sister called the number and was informed they would be there in around 20 - 25 minutes. We can't thank Mobility Plus enough following their recent handling of an urgent situation with my husband's lift chair. We just moved to the Boise area and had not developed a relationship with a Mobility company yet and my husband's chair suddenly stopped working on a Thursday evening. He has Parkinson's and literally can't get up from a seated position without assistance so in our home, this chair is a lifesaver for both of us. We found the information for this company online, made a call and immediately spoke to a representative. Brian Cherniack was at our home the following day to determine the issue. Fortunately it was the remote control unit and through phone calls he made while here, Brian was able to determine the part could be shipped to arrive early the next week. This was crucial in our situation. Brian also told us the remote was still under warranty which was a really pleasant surprise. Brian stayed in touch, understanding the that this chair is a vital part of my husband's home life. We were so happy when the part was received the following Thursday and Brian worked us into his schedule to get this chair working again! We just moved here from California and my Mom and Brother wanted the come visit. My Brother is handicapped and I knew we would want to take walks in the neighborhood and take a walk down the Boise River path. Aside from a "walker" and his walking sticks, I knew there was NO way my Brother would be able to participate in these activities and we would have to leave him behind which would make me heartbroken. I found this Company and called the owner to inquire about motorized scooters. He answered my call immediately and proceeded to let me know about different options one of which was a 3 wheeled, motorized scooter. I said "perfect". He then said he would be able to deliver it and pick it up at no extra charge. AMAZING service!! My Brother was able to go on all our walks and we had a great time! I live out of state and needed bedrail for my father. I called and talk to the owner at about 3:30. He emailed me my options and I selected one and was able to pay for it over the phone. A couple of hours later he delivered it, free of charge. What a amazing service! This is a great place if you are needing help with mobility. I have COPD Level 3 (Emphysema) and just cannot walk very far. I haven't been able to go to festivals and so many things that I love to do and knew I needed to get a scooter. I've been looking for several months and finally went out looking. I checked out a couple of others in the area but Mobility Plus in Boise was the store. Brian and Wendy are so very nice and also well informed. Brian can tell you anything you need to know about all kinds of mobility equipment and answered all of the questions I had. He works with you on the price and gave me the best deal on my brand new scooter! I am so in love with my scooter. I thought I was going to have to settle for a smaller less able one but Brian is so great and made it possible for me to get the scooter I wanted. I love it, and them too.
