I asked about whether Medicare would pay for it and was told they don't bill Medicare, but I could file the claim myself. I submitted a claim with Medicare and it was denied since MDS does not have a Medicare Supplier number. Now I'm out a LOT of money! MDS does not "guarantee" that Medicare will pay, but what they should say is that they WON'T pay because they don't participate. If I had know this before I made such a large purchase, I would have ordered the exact same thing for the exact same price from Amazon, where I WOULD have been reimbursed (Plus Amazon would have delivered it to my door for free and not charged me a $200 delivery fee-which MDS does) Silly me for trying to support a local company!

The rehab folks said she would need a wheelchair and that Medicare would pay for it. I said, "What do I do?" They said they would have Encore call me. The next day Encore called and said as soon as my mother was released, they would deliver a wheelchair to our home that day! And yes, Medicare would pay for it. That's exactly what happened so bim, bam, boom done and five stars! Flash forward seven months to the present day. The rubber came off one of the wheels. I popped the chair into the trunk of my car and off I went to their beautiful Sebring location. I was out the door in fifteen minutes with a brand-new wheelchair continuing to be paid by Medicare. Bim, bam, boom done times two so ten stars! I couldn't have asked for anything more!

We're both high risk and concerned about the COVID-19 situation, even though we are self-quarantining in our community. They advised that the masks were in stock, so I drove over the next morning to their location. Going in I noticed that the front counter is neatly surrounded by a plexiglass partition allowing you to speak with both a cashier or pharmacist if necessary. I was very warmly greeted and shown the mask I wanted, and was told they have a good supply. This pharmacy accepts most insurance plans, and can even deliver your items free to your home - a wonderful benefit. It looks like they have everything you need at reasonable prices - a great alternative to the chain drugstore. As a small gift I was presented with a purse size bottle of hand sanitizer. This place was a pleasure to deal with - and I would continue to go there in the future.
