I brought in a farm truck that required a thorough deep cleaning and a tint job. I accidentally showed up during lunch time, but Eric postponed lunch and carefully walked me through the options and process. Very educational. Being a farm truck, it definitley needed a lot of care and I was blown away by end result. I feel like I am driving a brand new pickup!!! I was very impressed with the service and communication that Eric, Johnny, Danny, and Pete provided at Grease Monkeys. Most people would turn away a working farm truck like mine, but this crew took it on with gusto. As a business owner myself, it is great to see another business of young professionals who are passionate about the quality of their work and about customer service. I went a couple weeks ago to have all of my windows tinted. I wasn't in a rush and even told them…read moreto take their time. When I picked up my car and inspected the work, I noticed that every single window had scratches on the tint. I understand that tint installation requires tools to remove air and bubbles, but the amount of scratching on each window was excessive. I pointed the scratches out, and the installer even tried wiping them with a microfiber cloth, but it was obvious they were on the tint itself. Instead of fully addressing the issue, I was asked when I could come back based on their availability rather than mine. Another issue was pricing. I was quoted $250 over the phone, but when I arrived, the price became $260 plus an additional $5 credit card fee. I didn't argue about it and paid the $265 because I've used this shop before and had good experiences. I brought the car back on Friday to have the issues corrected. I explained that all of the windows had scratches, but no one really inspected them with me or asked me to point out the problem areas. They only replaced two windows, while the rest still have visible scratches and bubbles. There are also some areas with bubbles and a few corners that don't appear to have been cut cleanly. I've used this shop in the past with all my vehicles and recommend it and was happy with the results, which is why this experience is so disappointing. Right now, I'm waiting a few more weeks to see if some of the remaining imperfections settle as the tint cures. However, if the scratches, bubbles, and cut corners remain, I'll have to bring the car back again. At this point, I'm very disappointed with the quality of the work and the customer service. I paid for a professional tint job and expected much better attention to detail. I'm hoping they make it right, but based on this experience, I don't plan on returning in the future.
