Later, I was quoted $1,000 for the repair and told the diagnostic fee would go toward that amount. When I asked how much the fee was, the man at the desk said he didn't know. He then told me to take my keys and leave. A couple of months later, I paid another mechanic $50 to look at the window. He told me the part needed was about $70 and pointed out that part of the door had been put together with duct tape. I don't know who put the tape there, but it added to my concerns about the car's condition and the original quote. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this shop.
