She asked me about my body, how I was feeling, and what needs I was looking to address. I was having a hard time after a month of high energy, and was feeling so drained, and out of my body. ...That's about all I could explain to her, as I was feeling so clouded. She listened to my needs, and from there, I could tell she tailored the massage to exactly what my body needed. I left feeling more balanced, my body felt more relaxed, more like itself, and most of all... I left knowing I had just been in the hands of someone who knew what she was doing, and understood that each human body is different, and how to individualize her touch for each person. Thanks Sierra! Can't wait for my next one.

He seemed to know exactly what my body needed before I did, and I left feeling restored in a way that was physical and something much deeper at the same time. Truly the best of the best. It was actually impressive the amount of tensions spots missed. Asked for no oil, got completely covered in oil. Masseuse seemed like she barely knew what she was doing. You know when it just feels like rubbing on skin? Thats exactly what about half the massage felt like. After spending 20 min in the bathroom rubbing oil off my body, I somehow left with more knots than I came with. Shame because the space is so beautiful and nice, as well as staff. Staff just need better training.

Came in for a 1hr deep tissue couples massage to celebrate my birthday and left feeling really…read moredisappointed which sucks because we booked here due to the rave reviews. My boyfriend asked for medium pressure, I asked for strong. I had to ask 2 more times during the massage for the woman to go stronger and I also let her know the muscles in my neck and shoulders were very tight and needed more pressure. Despite this, she didn't adjust pressure at all until the last 5 minutes of the massage and did not do any deep tissue work on my neck or shoulders. Because she only did deep tissue on two or three random parts of my body for maybe less than 10 minutes total of the whole massage, I now have something pinched in my lower back that I did not come in with. My boyfriend felt his massage was extremely light except for when his back got walked on, which resulted in him also leaving with back pain because of how rushed she was with her approach. There was also another employee yelling during the beginning of our massage as well and the music kept turning off so one of the ladies had to go out several times to tell them to stop and to turn the music back on. Overall it was a huge bummer, especially for the price of $285. It felt like we paid a lot of money to leave feeling worse than we walked in. We won't be coming back.

So clearly this was not the coaching experience she claimed it was. Definitely not coming back, I was holding out on the small chance that I would get a call back offering some sort of satisfactory resolution. I would say it's unbelievable, but considering how I was treated... It's not. So disappointing, I really wanted this to be my local spa. The aesthetician was wonderful, my issue was entirely with their front desk staff/management. Unfortunately it looks like I'm going to continue visiting my regular aesthetician in Beverly Hills, it's a really long drive but it looks like it's worth it.

The spa itself is a really nice place. Everything is marble and hard wood, everything around…read morelooks like it's high quality. There is no cheap stuff around this facility. The changing room is very small. The dry sauna and steam rooms are both small, but very good quality. There are not many other amenities to use during your visit to the spa. The waiting area and relaxation rooms are fine, just wish they could do a bit more with the relaxation room, it is next to public areas and corridors, so you can hear a lot of talking unfortunately. The highlight of spa visit was my massage therapist by the name of Mary Jane. I'm really into massages and I am someone who appreciates high quality, attention to detail and artistry. Mary Jane was all of these things. She's really a pleasure to get a massage from. You can tell she enjoys what she does and that she is passionate about what she does. Her attention to detail is impeccable and she's also very smart. Mary Jane is a thorough professional and master of her craft. She's an artist and it's such a delight to be apart of her artistic expression. I came in wanting to relax, destress, and relieve tension, Mary Jane knew exactly what to do and got right to it. Getting to feel her massage me was like watching Thomas Keller cook, or Gustavo Dudamel conduct on orchestra. Its just so natural to them, and they're just so good at it. This spa is pricier than some of the other top spas in the area, yet some of the other top spas offer better amenities, and you can make a day out of your trip to the spa, you can't really do that here. I guess that's the price you pay if you want to hang out at a rosewood. If it weren't for Mary Jane, I may or may not return to this spa. I might rather pay less and go somewhere that has more to offer as a facility. However I really, really want the opportunity to spend more time with Mary Jane. Overall it was a fun day at the spa, I left feeling amazing. That's how one wants to leave a spa after all.
