stay away!!!! Scam alert!!! I wish I have read the reviews before taking my equipment to this scammer! On August 1st, I dropped my wheelbarrows and gave him $200 deposit. He charged me almost $1000 for parts and was rushing me to send him E-transfer before he leaves the parts store. Also stressed out that if he buys the parts now, he will finish the repairs on my wheelbarrows by the end of the week. Two months later, he told me that now he needs to change the engines because the parts he bought are not compatible and I have to send him $250 for him to start working on my wheelbarrows. When I told him to finish work as promised and get paid, he told be that he is not going to work on them. It is very clear that he hasn't done anything and not going to proceed...he just keeps lying and asking for more money. I asked him to return my wheelbarrows and all the parts he bought. His answer was that I owe him $200 and will have my equipment in boxes. This guy ruined my $2000x2 wheelbarrows, scammed me for $1200 (deposit and parts) and asking me to pay $200 before I get my equipment all disassembled back. Bill Is very incompetent, a liar and a theif ! I Paid Bill $215 to repair my trailer lights , he said he needed a part and would return in a couple days. he claimed that he couldn't find the part needed ( princess auto has about 10 on the rack when I checked). When i ask about the part, his reply is always "I'll check in the morning ". I ended up having to hire someone else after he stopped responding and turns out Bill's diagnoses was not even correct and it was just a loose connection and no parts were actually needed. He also made cuts to the inside panels to pull the wires out, rather than removing the panels and didn't even put that wiring back. I basically paid $215 for someone to come and damage my trailer. Bill is crook. We dropped off a Lawn Tractor in March for repairs. Paid a deposit for parts and time. A day later he come back with a list of parts needing replacing. Wanted money for the parts, made sure to include GST. Couple days later wanted more money for more parts. Yes, should have been red flags then but he assured it would be ready soon. This continued 5 times for more than $1500. Then into mid April. Requests for completion time was met with "I am too busy. Maybe next week". That was the whole point of getting it in early. Gave up on useless promises by the end of May and just picked up in current state. Almost nothing had been done. No parts were purchased and he would not return any of the money. Bill picked up my pressure washer after not being able to repair it on my driveway on April 06 2021. Agreed on $ 200 to replace the ignition coil & i paid him deposit $ 150. After many excuses he promised to replace the fuel line ( originally he said ignition coil, he does not even remember that ) Now he does not pick up my phone calls or answer massages. I strongly recommend you look elsewhere for repair service. Bill does not respect my time, he his horrible at phoning me back, and he overcharges. First appointment, he kept me waiting over an hour, when I phone him to find out where he was he said he was not going to be able to make it and asked to reschedule. Second appointment, he kept me waiting over an hour again and when I phoned him he texted me back with some excuse that he was waiting for the gas repair man. He did show up to our next appointment, late, and in my opinion overcharged me for what was a quick (5 minute) diagnostic. He didn't even have the parts to do the repair, he told me I had to buy the part and call him back to complete the repair. Charged me $80 for a house call. He's 'Mobile', what's with this 'House call' business? I called him and texted him to try to make another appointment once I had the part, he got back to my third message. Made an appointment to install the part. He never showed up. He never phoned or texted. I didn't call him back. I contacted a different mobile mechanic who actually showed up when he said he would and did a fantastic job and for less than what Bill quoted. Bill is a crook - do not leave any of your equipment with him - I foolishly gave him 220 to change 2 belts for a rototiller and he promised to pick up the parts and install them. After a week I called and he just brushed me off. NEVER DO business with him and his company - read other reviews for similiar issues. I wish I would have read them prior my dealing with him. Called this company they were eager to come around to fix my rototiller, I even gave this company another rototiller that was to big for me for free, I just wanted my small rototiller repaired, they took both rototillers away to their shop about three weeks ago since then, there has been less and less contact with the company, each time I have asked how much longer? when can I have my rototiller back there is a different reason why I can't have it, I've tried calling no one answers you can't leave a message. I used to get some response via text message but now that has stopped. I have kindly asked over the past five days to please return my property and I will pay for the work that they have completed, even that hasn't worked. So I doubt I will see my property again. This guy is a crook who doesn't deserve to be in business. Initial impression was good as he was available to come to my house the day after my 1st call to tune up my snowblower at what seemed a reasonable price. Minor yellow flag that he was over 3 hours late arriving after sending repeated texts that he was nearly there. Red flag when his tune up includes an oil change, but he announced that he didn't have any oil for my engine (fortunately I did, and supplied it without a break on his price), or a container to collect the old oil (again, fortunately I did). He spent some time monkeying around with the snowblower, then when it started it wouldn't continue to run and he blamed the ignition coil & said it needed to be replaced but he couldn't get the part until Monday. I asked if I could just pay him when all the work was done, but he insisted on being paid in full for the tune up then, and again after completing the repair. I didn't hear from him for over a week and a half, so I called to see when he would install the part, & he seemed to have forgotten. A few days later he called to say he was going to the part supplier & gave me the price for the part, but I needed to give him consent right away to buy it. When I called back, he said I needed to not just give consent, but pay in advance for the part because otherwise that's how he 'ended up getting stuck with a lot of parts in his truck', so I paid by e-transfer, and he said he'd install in a couple of days. 1 week later, after I'd left a couple of voicemails & texts asking when he would be out to install, he seemed to return my call by mistake, and when I asked him about it and pointed out it had been a week, he said he actually hadn't bought the part until 2 days later, so it had only been 5 days, and he would be out the next day. After another week of unreturned voicemails & texts, I sent a final text asking him to either make a priority of getting over & installing the part to finish the job he had started over a month earlier, or give me the part I had paid for, or refund what I had paid for it so I could have someone else do the work. Again, no response from this thief. The shop I sent the snowblower to said it was rare for the ignition coil to fail, and if it did, the part cost about 60% of what Crooked Bill had charged me. As it turns out, the other shop (whose name includes a province and I am very happy with) completed the repair without replacing the ignition coil, using parts that cost less than 1/2 what Crooked Bill charged for a part he probably never even bought. Stay away from Mobile Small Engine Repair. Bill is a crook. The money you save by not paying to get your machine to & from a reputable shop is more than offset by what you lose dealing with Crooked Bill. read more

Great job hes a busy guy but sure knows his stuff around engines. Fixed Snowblower lawnmower and pressure washer in under an hour . Bill at Mobile Small Engine Repair will come and "fix" your lawnmower /snowblower at your home or business but does not stand behind his work. BE AWARE ! I hired him to do a lawn mower tune-up and since then (after 2 mows) we have had complaints about the lawnmower being too loud. The rpm's are set too high - simple fix for a reputable mechanic. I contacted Bill to arrange another visit to fix the problem and he ignored my calls and messages. When I finally reached him, after blocking my caller ID,. he committed to coming to fix it. He didn't show for 2 appointments and did not even have the courtesy to call me and reschedule. Now he says we have damaged the mower in 2 mows since his visit, it is our fault, and he is not responsible for anything. NOTE: (We have maintained and run this mower for years with no issues until he did his tune-up) He does not provide a quality service, nor treat his customers with any respect. August 20, 2017 Don't use this person as he doesn't stand behind his work. About two weeks ago he came to my home, arriving about 4 hours late, and sought to fix my pressure washer. He drained out the old gasoline (stale) and charged me $105 and left after 45 minutes or so. The very day I started up the pressure washer, began to use it and it died after using it for about a 1/2 hour, and also I noticed it was leaking gasoline which it never did before. He suggested that perhaps there was a puncture hold in the carb filter (which he had removed the previous day) and suggested that perhaps the started coil had failed. He agree to return on the following Saturday at 1:30pm, At 4 pm I called him and asked him if he was coming. He said yes, that he was running late and would arrive around 5pm. He never showed up nor did he call to cancel. I called him the next day but he did not return my phone call. I have given up and him and have since arranged for a reputable and competent repair shop to fix my pressure washer. Once he's left your premises and taken your money, if you have any issues with his work, he will not stand behind it and you will not hear from him again. Use this individual at your peril. read more
