After a few days in the midst of a power outage that lasted a few hours, I discovered I wasn't able to use a personal hotspot for my IPad. As seniors, we prefer to use iPad rather than our iPhones to pay bills or send and read email.i tried to contact Telus but could not speak to a person and kept getting the Same message. Basically, old phones don't have the capacity for PH. Newer ones did, I had an iphone 12. At no point was I told the essential package I signed up for did not have PH. Telus would not help me. Brett at Mobile Klinic was amazing. He cancelled the contract and set me up with Koodo. He transferred everything and when we left we felt we got the best customer service around. I took my cellphone in as my SD card holder/reader had become disconnected. After some…read moreinvestigation, they indicated that they were not able to fix it. So I picked it up and took it home. It did not work well on the way home (bluetooth connection) and so I investigated further. It was unable to read my SIM card. I took it back to the repair shop and they denied any responsibility and stated it could not be fixed. This is the first time I have ever taken something in to be fixed somewhere and had it come back to me worse than it was before.

They both have many years of experience fixing phones and computers. One thing I like is that they have 3 months warranty if you buy from them. Yes, they sell re-furbished phones, and some merchandise that is not the top of the line. But it is a growing business, run by honest and friendly guys. They deserve a chance to prove themselves. I will continue coming to get their help. China town is also very cool to visit here in Calgary.

Contact imobile, they came out to the house, diagnosed the problem as an incorrect installation of the screen, and repaired overnight for $90. Was very impressed with Wan professional approach, not to mention the 6mo warranty on repairs(which is about triple what the competition is offering!!!!) I had to go to the Telus store down the street and have a new sim installed and they helped me recover my e-mail account and e-mail history. The kicker.... this guy charged me $150.00 for this debacle!! I went back after going down the street to the TELUS store to have them fix his mistakes and they were kind enough to help me out. He was very short, dismissive and rude regarding a phone repair appointment that was scheduled ahead of time. He shook his head at my wife as we drove away. We went down the street to Okotoks Cellphone Repair and were greeted kindly and had great service from the staff there. If you need helpful staff, Big Rock is not the place for you.
