In the beginning when my girls wanted to participate in something such as this and on this level, as a father I was very worried because you hear horror stories about crazy people or creepers in this feild but over years the family that runs this program has always been professionals who want to teach and share their talents with the next generation. Over the years I have witnessed the owners go out of their way to offer a helping hand to young people trying to get a start in this business... The Center also hosts some free community events, dance lessons, art festivals, and cultural celebrations throughout the year, making it a true gathering place for all ages. I highly recommend checking their calendar regularly, you're likely to find something that speaks to you! The Center has two excellent performance spaces: the 400 or so-seat Center Theater and the 1,500 or so-seat Concert Hall, both known for their outstanding acoustics. The rehearsals are well-supervised and the culture is kid appropriate, which we have found is not always the case with local youth theater groups.
