I needed a window regulator replaced. It was 2 days before snow was suppose to come in. I had them do the work. The bill seemed high and i did some research on having the work done. Bottom line. They charged me $698.72. The average to have the work done at a dealer or independent shops runs about $417.88. Math says i was easily overcharged $280.84 at Mobile Medics !! The part cost $150.00 at the dealership not $257.66. 'Shop Rates' (labor) are $170.00 not $260.00. They charged me $15.00 for 'shop supplies. What shop supplies did they use ? They charged me $15.00 for 'EPA/waste removal.. I took the old part home with me ! Sub total was $647.66!! if i paid cash it would have been $659.17. $12.00 more if I paid cash ? if I paid with a CC it was $698.72. $51.00 more if i used a credit card?! That doesn't even make sense!! They never offered a senior discount when I was at the counter to pay. The never offered a Veterans discount when I was at the counter to pay. Came there in an emergency situation and was told they may be able to get to it which they did Friday before Memorial Day weekend, diagnosed as a fuel pump and sending unit for $1,365.00 paid in advance. Friday, they said they could not fix it and I needed to get it out of there because it was a holiday weekend, and he needed the room. Got my neighbor from 60 miles away to help me get it home with his tow dolly. Finally had it fixed in Eager, AZ but after filling fuel tank it was leaking fuel and he said i would have to drop it off it was the distributor and coil pack. But now in Globe, AZ (my winter Home) 100 miles and would not let me get even an appointment to fix what was supposed to be fixed the first time and just discovered while sitting on a slight slope I am now leaking fuel from around the fuel tank? read more

We were up in show low last weekend and had a problem with our suburban. (It was making a grinding noise) So we called Mobile Medics Auto Repair. He said bring it in and he would look at it. So we dropped it off and I told him that I thought it sounded like a idler pulley. He said he would call us with when he looked at it. He did call us and told me it was The AC compressor And that the alternator was making noise. So I asked If he could bypass it. He said yes he could just pull the belt off and I could drive it with no AC. I said ok and he said he would call me when it was done. He called and said it was done. When we picked it up he charged me $187.00 Cash price. He quoted replacing the AC compressor and the alternator @130.per hour with Freon and all for just under $2000.00. When we got home we called another shop and they replaced the idler pulley for the AC belt. It cost me $120.00 parts and labor and the truck runs great. $187.00 to take the belt off and try to sell me parts and labor not needed. Be careful when you call this place. read more

Called 10 local auto repair shops in the show low/ Pinetop area reference a vacuum leak causing problems with the A/C. All said the weee booked and offered no advise other than call someone else. I called and left a message with Mobile Medics and they returned my call right away. This 32 year old is working 7 days a week trying to provide service to those in need. The owner said he too was very busy; but recommended I check for a possible air leak in the compartment area of my motor home. Sure enough, he was spit on andI was able to repair the leak. This business is all about customer service and providing the best they can. They have us back on the road and will be our mechanic for all our needs. Give this company a chance. I was visiting in Overgaard and had noticed some issues with my transmission coming down from Colorado. I call Mobile Medics and Robert made an appointment for me that afternoon. I authorized him to do whatever was needed to make sure my drive home was uneventful. He repaired the car, drained the transmission fluid, changed out the filter and had the car ready for me to take back to Overgaard in about 2 12 hours. He was polite and efficient. He taught me something about driving my car in AWD that I had never known before. He saved me a great deal of gas money on the way back to my home in Colorado because he his good work and his advice. I called Robert from out of state to inspect a car I was going to purchase - he saved me AT LEAST $1,000. He diagnosed an intermittent misfire that the dealer had failed to disclose. The dealership took it into their shop and told me that they had replaced spark plugs etc, the Check Engine light wasn't on, but they suspected contaminated fuel, but they'd have their mechanic drive it home and make sure everything was OK. They called me the following am as I was driving to the airport to say that the diagnostic codes actually showed a problem with the catalytic converters - doesn't work for me in CA. I was not aware that yelp would contact 4 shops until I was ready to send problems with my vehicle. This is the best mechanic service I've ever used. I had a fantastic experience and couldn't be more satisfied. I called almost every mechanic in Flagstaff on Easter Sunday when my check brake light came on, and Robert at Mobile Medics Auto Repair was the only one who answered. He met me in a parking lot and discovered that the after-market hitch that I had installed, clipped our rear brake lines while driving off-road. One side was smashed and the other was severed and draining brake fluid. It was wild. Anyway, he immediately told me how much it would probably cost in parts and how much he would charge for labor. Initially, he thought we would have to remove the hitch and shorten it so that it wouldn't interfere with the brakes, but then Rob figured out a way to reroute the brake lines behind the axel, so they would be unaffected by the hitch. This saved me an enormous amount of time and money, and now, I have custom brake lines. Robert definitely undercharged me, considering the amount of time and headache this took. He taught me along the way, answered all my questions and did an amazing job. I spent a bit of the day with him- he also bled the brakes, replaced the brake pads, and did an oil change, and so I got to hear a bit of his story. He's a well traveled, hard-working, amazing dude. His business is professional & laid back. I felt so comfortable with him and I knew that he wasn't ripping me off because I got to watch and see everything he was doing. He warrantees his work for a year or 10,000 miles. Open 24/7 including holidays. If you're driving cross country, you better hope you break down in Flagstaff. Robert is your man. read more

This guy is legit! I had brake troubles while at the Grand Canyon and the closest auto parts store or garage was 60+ miles away.
