In addition to being incredibly talented, she is also incredibly welcoming. I generally consider myself a subpar conversationalist (awkward, bad with eye contact, sweats a lot), but I have NEVER ONCE felt awkward while getting a haircut from Michelle. She has an incredible ability to keep a conversation flowing naturally and every appointment is so pleasant! I used to DREAD haircuts and even cut my hair at home for a while, but now I look forward to them! I can't recommend Michelle enough as a stylist!

I got my haircut, for the first time in 5 years, by Marina, and I could not be happier! I found…read morethis salon through yelp, after seeing they had many great reviews for handling very long hair. Marina was so friendly and welcoming, as well as very detailed about what it was I wanted. I felt very comfortable with letting her do her thing. She absolutely impressed me! Arax helped with my face framing, and another lovely lady (I missed her name) did my blowout. Everyone was so nice and supportive. They hyped me up after everything was done and made me feel absolutely beautiful. The salon itself was very cute and intimate. A warm, welcoming, clean setting, and everyone in there seemed very sweet as well. I will definitely continue to have Marina do my hair from here on out! Very pleased!

Gabby for the win! My first time here. Was feeling very…read morelazy, but wanted to straighten my hair for the day. I looked up on yelp for blowouts in my area and this place came up. Gabby was the only Stylist available last minute, but it worked in my favor. I was lucky to get an appointment within two hours for a blowout. I kinda miss the turn, so ended up parking on the street, but there is parking in the plaza lot that they are in. But otherwise there is plenty of street parking for free along Olive Avenue. Gabby is so sweet, and although I don't mind a heavy-handed Stylist, she is very gentle. The whole experience was very relaxing and satisfied with my end result. My only complaint and the reason I gave only four stars is, I didn't love the shampoo bowls. They don't have the rubber neck support in the bowls, and I just felt like I kept sliding down in the chair and it made me think too hard and not be able to enjoy the shampooing experience. I will definitely come back to see her on these days that I am feeling lazy. I just want to be pampered a little bit. I ended up having her flat iron as well. Blowout alone was $65 and with flat iron was $80 total.

Definitely Not Worth It…read more I honestly don't understand how this salon has 128 reviews and every single one is 5 stars on Google. My experience was completely different. I asked for a French bob and showed the stylist a picture. I left with what looked like a mushroom haircut. For what I was charged, I expected a lot better. Then there was the pricing. The website advertised "Cut and Style $90." I was charged $150 because I was later told styling was a separate charge. When I questioned it, I was told there was a notice at the bottom of the mirrors saying styling was extra. I never saw that notice before or during my appointment, and I was not given an itemized receipt explaining the additional $60 charge. If styling costs an additional $60, that should be made very clear before the customer agrees to the service, not explained afterward. So, in my experience: disappointing haircut, surprising pricing, and definitely not the $150 experience I expected. A barber could have done a better job for $25. I won't be returning.

This was my first-ever curly haircut, and I can honestly say I've never been this happy with a haircut before. From the moment I walked in, I loved the aesthetic of the salon. It's modern, clean, and has such a welcoming vibe. The customer service was top-notch; everyone was so friendly and made me feel comfortable right away. I didn't really have any inspo pics so I just told him, "I Trust You, cut it how you think it would look best". Though, I have curly hair I tend to straighten it a lot so I made him aware of that. Then I asked him, if bangs would look good and that lead to me walking out with bangs! No regrets! I'm so in love with my haircut. If you have curly hair and are looking for a stylist who truly understands how to cut and shape curls, I highly recommend Wissam's Salon. I'm beyond happy with my results and will definitely be coming back!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I felt people should see what $110 got me here…read more I had to stop the service mid-appointment because basic nail prep was not being done. I work with my hands for a living, and my nails genuinely needed proper cleaning and prep before tips were applied. Instead, I found myself having to repeatedly ask for basic prep work while being made to feel uncomfortable for speaking up. The tips were then applied with excessive glue/product underneath the nails, leaving thick chunks underneath that make the nails difficult to properly clean. When I expressed concern, I was told the glue "had to be there" to make the nails strong. I have been getting my nails done for decades and have never had a technician argue with me for not wanting large globs of hardened glue underneath my nails. When I said I wanted to stop the service, I was told "let me fix it," but the issues were never actually corrected. The nail lengths and shapes were inconsistent, the filing/shaping was uneven, and there were visible imperfections, debris, and rough edges throughout the work. I also had concerns about sanitation. The UV lamp being used appeared dirty and damaged, and the drill/e-file bits looked visibly unclean between clients, which made me increasingly uncomfortable during the appointment. I've attached photos so people can judge the quality for themselves.

I'm proud of how far she has come, opening her own amazing salon. She is the real deal. I have never had a hair stylist who was so honest, skilled, and such a unique spirit. I originally went to Ani with straightened, fine brown hair in hopes of highlights and a better cut for my hair type. Upon her expert suggestions and great eye, she gradually got me to a highlighted golden blonde color without at all damaging my hair along the way. My hair has so much more curl and volume now as well. I have fully embraced the blonde and my curls and have never looked back. I'm usually lazy about booking appointments and was only seeing her every 2-3 months. By the time I would be in the styling chair my roots were all grown out and I was in a serious need of some assistance.
