i went to have my vehicle remote starter checked after complications came up from the installation. the radio would come on without the key in the ignition which resulted in a dead battery. upon the first request , the owner answered the phone and said he was not interested and said to bring it to the dealership. i replied that i had brought it to the dealership and also a specialty technician at my cost and they both pointed out that the connections from the remote starter were of the poorest quality and workmanship which would likely result in more complications down the road. the specialist suggested he could either review the whole installation for a minimum 3 hours labor or just remove/uninstall it ,then repair the damage from the installation. he also mentioned that if the installer cares about the reputation of his business, he would stand behind his work. the specialty tech said not to mention the overall poor quality of the installation as not to insult mobile electronics. i then spoke with a tech at viper , the brand of the remote installer, and he mentioned that mobile electronics is recognized as a viper retailer , but he's not on viper's preferred installation list. the closest viper fully recommended installer in in fall river mass. by mobile electronics not being fully recognized by the viper company, they cannot cover or direct mobile electronics in the follow up/repair. where as if he was a fully recognized preferred installer, they could. don't believe just because mobile electronics verbally claims he is a certified remote starter installer and has remote starter cutuots everywhere and a website with such claims he is.one call to the manufacturer of the remote starter at viper and they will say if you want viper to stand behind their product and installation and they will tell you mobile electronics is not. the car stereo showroom area has been nothing but empty holes and exposed wires all over the floor for years . if they cannot even take care of their showroom displays and front desk, what do you honestly think happens behind closed doors in the workbay when you leave your vehicle in their hands. you can only imagine the damage and expenses occurred in a highly detailed installation if the installer in not fully recognized, certified, or qualified. even if you take this review with a bit of skepticism, you cannot excuse the front desk and the showroom. in conclusion when i finally went to mobile electronics for a follow up , i was rushed by the receptionist to leave. she constantly disappeared to the bathroom and installation bay while i was in the showroom. becoming more agitated that i was hoping to wait and oversee the repairs for reassurance in my choice with them. i felt rushed and deceived and chose to leave and incur the tremendous burden and expense of the hack installation. look at the showroom and front desk and remember this review, read more
