DON'T BE FOOLED! ASK FOR MANDI, AVOID LUCKY!…read more
I wish to take this opportunity to shine a little light on the reason this shop has a dark reputation:
The guy that is usually found sitting at the counter, who goes by the alias "Lucky", pretends to have an automotive education, and to know how to work on cars when he, in fact knows as much as a person working in an ice cream shop.
He has a dirty habit of scaring unsuspecting customers into agreeing to bizarre services and unnecessary replacement of parts.
Lucky is downright untrustworthy. He will lie and cheat whoever he can, he'll do it with a smile on his face, convince you that everything will be sorted out without a hitch. Since he doesn't know how to diagnose cars, he is simply talking out of pocket. Trying to get you to agree to some sort of sale.
When you do find yourself at this service station, you MUST ASK for MANDI, who is the HEAD MECHANIC.
Ask to take a test drive with the mechanic, so that he experiences your concern. If your CHECK ENGINE LIGHT comes on, have him look at the car first. Don't let Lucky near your car with his little scanner.
The shop is well equipped to handle the needs of various cars, Asian, American & European. Perform inspections, alignments, tires, brakes, fluid services, etc. The PROBLEM is simply that Lucky doesn't care for anything other than making as much money off you with the least amount of effort.
P.S. While you're there, check out Anthony's Auto Detailing. Right outside of this shop, usually found in the canopy.
