Out of all my usual spots in Whitestone, I think this is high on the list for places I miss since…read moremoving to Florida. I used to frequent this place a lot when I lived in Queens. I visited so much that the attendants knew me. Well, many individuals frequent here so they are familiar with a lot of the regulars. In fact, many people spend long periods of time here either chatting with others or playing scratch off games. I want to say there are 8 gas pumps, that are usually functional. The roof covering the pumps was blown off from the tornado and has not been replaced yet. There are several parking spots available-some directly in front of the store and some by the air/vacuum machines. There is also a mechanic shop with a 3 car garage. I never used them before for car repairs so I cannot provide much information on that. You name it, they have it here. There is both a lotto machine in the back of the store and you can also purchase tickets at the front from the attendant. There are cigarettes and vapes to purchase. The beer selection is amazing! You can also find so many varieties of drinks. The aroma of coffee is always existent and you whiff it as soon as you step inside, which is always welcoming. Another positive aspect is they are open 24/7.

Came to this gas station because their sign posted $3.49/3.59 for regular cash/credit. Stepped out…read moreto fill up only for the service attendant to run up and inform me that it was a full service station. After getting filled up I requested my receipt which he handed me and quickly walked away. As I drove off, I took a look at the receipt only to find out I was charged $3.79 for credit. I feel scammed and will not be coming back.

DON'T BE FOOLED! ASK FOR MANDI, AVOID LUCKY!…read more I wish to take this opportunity to shine a little light on the reason this shop has a dark reputation: The guy that is usually found sitting at the counter, who goes by the alias "Lucky", pretends to have an automotive education, and to know how to work on cars when he, in fact knows as much as a person working in an ice cream shop. He has a dirty habit of scaring unsuspecting customers into agreeing to bizarre services and unnecessary replacement of parts. Lucky is downright untrustworthy. He will lie and cheat whoever he can, he'll do it with a smile on his face, convince you that everything will be sorted out without a hitch. Since he doesn't know how to diagnose cars, he is simply talking out of pocket. Trying to get you to agree to some sort of sale. When you do find yourself at this service station, you MUST ASK for MANDI, who is the HEAD MECHANIC. Ask to take a test drive with the mechanic, so that he experiences your concern. If your CHECK ENGINE LIGHT comes on, have him look at the car first. Don't let Lucky near your car with his little scanner. The shop is well equipped to handle the needs of various cars, Asian, American & European. Perform inspections, alignments, tires, brakes, fluid services, etc. The PROBLEM is simply that Lucky doesn't care for anything other than making as much money off you with the least amount of effort. P.S. While you're there, check out Anthony's Auto Detailing. Right outside of this shop, usually found in the canopy.

Fellow residents of Whitestone please heed my warning, stay away from this place…read more You will be scared into buying parts you don't need and charged 3-30x what the parts actually cost. (they wanted to charge $60 for a gasket, Rofl. Found the same one on ebay for $2). Same thing for an iac valve that i didn't even need (I'll go into detail shortly). The valve is $80 they said it was a $400 part because "no one had it"... first link on Google was 80 bucks free shipping. They will try to take you for everything they can. I brought my car for 1 oil change and suddenly I began having idle issues and throwing a check engine light after getting my car back from them. I go back and ask what they think the problem is. This is where they tell me I need a new iac valve that will cost 700 dollars including labor. With my bullshit detector ringing loud in the back of my head I ask how much the part is, that's where they tell me 400 bucks. After checking the actual price of the part ($80) I put 2 and 2 together and got the hell out of there. After WEEKS of trouble shooting my vehicle doing everything from checking & cleaning valves, throttle bodies, checking for faults in the wiring and nearly resetting my ecu, I discover a tiny little valve that seems to be missing a little rubber cap. Those ******* bastards removed the cap to create a small and inconspicuous vacuum leak that would force the cars computer to throw that code. They were going to pocket the entire 700 without even buying or replacing the part by putting the rubber cap back on. I bought a pack of the caps I needed for 25 cents, put it on, and the car has been running mint for months now. I'm so sick that this scum is allowed to have a 'business' in my town.

My mistake to leave Manhattan with the low fuel sensor on while going to white plains but lucky me…read moreI was able to get off the bruckner and find this BP station nearby . Gas prices are ok , many pumps means no wait and no shady characters lingering around means I can get some gas and hit the road . But wait they have a brightly lite convenience store and I can use a nice large fountain drink and some lottery tickets . All done and now it's time to quickly hit the road as the shady characters have appeared out of nowhere. 4 stars on my yelp meter and ,5 stars for the latina girl who has a amazing future behind her , if you get my drift

I am now hereby requesting further review and investigation,…read more Based on the response I received, it seems as though you are having a hard time understanding the situation. My claim is not that the quality of the fuel is bad, but that the fuel that I selelcted was not the fuel that was in the resevoir at the pumping station. If you reviewed your records, then you would see that I have ALWAYS selelcted 93 grade and on July 8th my vehicle became disabled because DIESEL was in my tank. My repair shop reported DIESEL in the tank. NOT 93. Therefore the 93 grade resevoir at the BP Station located at 871 Melrose had DIESEL fuel in it. This situation has irreperably destroyed my feelings about BP as an Organization overall. Instead of you recognizing the error and making your custiomer whole, BP as an Organization overall has taken the position that I knowingly purchased DIESEL Fuel and ruined my new vehicle. BP has taken the position that the customer and the repair shop are wrong and that is a disgrace. I am looking foreward to this matter being escalated to a higher level where the details of my claim are seriously reviewed and I am FULLY REIMBURSED for my purchase of the Deisel as well as the cost of the repair. Please be aware that BP has now lost yet another customer as I know that this is NOT the first time that BP has had this situation occur. I will never purchase anything from any BP station anywhere in the world ever again. Furthermore, I will be sure shed light on the mistreatment of myself as well as other former BP customers as it relates to BP the Organization stealing from and causing damage to customers property. I will look forward to hearing from the highest level of management. I am not accepting anything outside of an apology from BP and Full Reimbursement of my Repair expense as well as all out of pocket expenses related to this matter!
