Now when you go to this gas station there is always someone standing on either side sleep, punching the sky because they hallucinating off of drugs or asking for money. It makes it very uncomfortable. But if you just grabbing gas it's okay if you using your card to pay on the outside. However, if you need to go in the inside to pay that's where the problem occurs. Everything seemed normal at first--the clerk was acting like any typical store employee. When I went to pay, I tried to tap my card, but it wasn't working. The clerk immediately told me the machine wasn't broken and that I needed to insert my card instead. That raised a small concern for me. I went back to my car to grab a different card and tried tap to pay again, but it still wouldn't work. When I mentioned that the machine might not be functioning properly, the clerk suddenly became very aggressive and upset, insisting I insert the card. After my card finally went through, the clerk became even angrier and tried to kick me out, even though I was already leaving. The reaction seemed very unusual just for pointing out a possible issue with the payment machine. Because of how strongly he pushed for card insertion instead of tap, and how aggressively he reacted when I questioned it, it honestly made me uncomfortable. I'm canceling my cards just to be safe. If you stop here, I'd recommend paying with cash. Also be aware that the staff seemed very rude to multiple customers while I was there.

Being positioned where it is, and them trying to pack in as much as they could in this strip of land, it is almost impossible to move about without getting stuck in congestion. The pumps are always busy. It may take some time to get one, and you never know which way a person is going to pull into one of the pumps. It is interesting to see how people are oblivious to everything around them. Inside, it is set up like your traditional convenience store. However, smelling like Subway bread the whole time in here. Service inside is not always the best. I found it to be interesting that they would always find a way to run from behind the counter when they see you coming towards it. Or they would simply turn their backs to you. Once one of them finally realizes you are there, it can be a bit congested like it is outside. I think they purposefully leave the one register down because to cater to those seeking lottery tickets. My favorite part here, the display case with all the plastic food that they may have available. Not only is there a Subway inside, but you get your selection of the 7-11 fare.

This review is for the U-haul location centered here. Made a reservation online for a truck so I…read morecould move. Received a confirmation and instructions for using the app to check out the truck upon arrival, and took a Lyft here. When I got here, there were trucks in the parking lot, but nothing was showing in the U-Haul app. I called U-Haul customer service and they noted that this location failed to check in the trucks, so while the trucks may have physically been there, they could not be rented out. This is kind of a big deal when one of the major functions is to rent out trucks! Luckily, the customer service reps were able to transfer my reservation to the Capitol St location, but I had to rush to get there before they closed. Still, the fact that the trucks here weren't properly checked in so that other reservations could be fulfilled was extremely problematic.
