Lastly, I have had two experiences where I've paid to fill my tank and when I went to leave there was literally no gas in the tank, despite paying. I then had to argue with the clerk to get what I paid for. To be fair, this place has been around for decades so who knows whose ownership it was under in each of these situations. I've only decided to review now after today's experience watching them crudely endanger the life of every customer in the place. So check the label if you even want to risk going in during a pandemic.

This was the first station that came up. As I said it was unique. I've been to gas stations all over the country, but this was a first. There was a full buffet inside. Not just the typical hot dogs, or the 7-11 rolls... they had empanadas, rice and beans, salmon, chicken, and about 15 other dishes. I have never seen this before in a gas station. Do people come for dinner etc? Oh well.. We dis not partake in the bounty, we just got gas. Staff was friendly, and the place was clean. If we were hungry we might have gotten a snack. Yes, I had to travel about a half a mile in the opposite direction to find it, but I was coming from out of town and had to stop in at Woodbury Commons that day for an event that would turn things around in my job and had to get gas in the meantime. Since I had cash, I had to go in and prepay. After handing the employee my money (I had given him a $20 but asked to pump $15), things went okay. He took the money and gave me my receipt. He activated the pump for the transaction. Though it was raining, I got a little flustered when I told him which pump - I didn't at first notice the pump number until after paying. I mentioned which car it was out near the pumps (under the awning). Things carried on. I took care of what I needed to get and although I got lost trying to find the "exit" in the direction I needed to travel to get to the mall's main entrance, but they make big to-do with the mall straight ahead on the road (apparently Locey Ln). But that's not to be mentioned here. It took me a few moments to take care of the gas filling and I was back off and running. Stop in ifyou need gas and are around this mall. It's tough to find a gas station near the mall to it's north on Rte 32, and although I was told from the signs that there are few gas stations nearby, this is really the first one I encountered that day. I'll keep it in mind if I'm ever in the area for stopping in again, but I don't believe I'll be around very often.

Wrong. Wrong. Prior to BP opening, another outdated gas station was here, I don't even think it had a convenience store. Fast forward to this year, BP opens up, replacing the antiquated pumping stations with brand new ones that even have a small tv. I thought to myself, "great, it's on the way to work and home, location is good, set in a nice little neighborhood". They even put in a brightly lit convenience store which was also a plus. A couple of cons I noticed about this station were it's not open 24/7, there's no light next to the pumping stations and there's no overhang. So essentially at 7pm in the evening on a rainy day, you'll be pumping gas in the dark and getting wet. I don't know if they plan on fixing these issues but they really should. Fast forward to yesterday. I go to the gas station to fill up my tank. I proceed to pay at the pump, select the gas type, insert the nozzle and start pumping gas. I tried to adjust the tiny lever under the actual pump handle itself so I wouldn't have to hold the gas pump as its filling my tank. As I'm trying to adjust it, the pump just detaches from the nozzle and gasoline starts gushing out everywhere, DRENCHING ME and my car. Still slightly in shock at what the heck just happened, I walk into the store to explain this to the clerk, who barely speaks English. I wasn't even going to try to argue my case at that point because it would've gotten me nowhere. The clerk proceeds to pump my gas and over fills it because the little 'click' didn't go off signaling that my tank was full. There was so much gas in my tank that the excess was literally flowing out. Yup. That happened at this gas station.

Tried to go into the store to get my receipt but the door was locked and had a sign that said…read more"sorry - back in 2 minutes." I could see two men inside standing around and eating. No prob, everyone is entitled to a dinner break. After 10 minutes they still hadn't unlocked/opened the door. I knocked and one of them begrudgingly let me in. I told him my pump number and he handed me a receipt, acting like he was doing me a favor. After I got back to my car I saw that it wasn't my receipt. I went back for my receipt but they had relocked the door. I knocked again, they let me in, and I told them what happened. They were unapologetic and seemed irritated that I'd come back for the right receipt. I only went to Gulf because it wasn't crowded but the Shell station was. Now I know why. Never again.
