So, based on the other Yelp reviews, I trekked up to Edge Motorsport in Sloatsburg to get the inspection sticker on my new ride. Their shop is great with a lot of cool cars in the lot and in for things. There was a fabulous ABT modified Audi, a Murcielago in for what looked like a major, and a few other fine German, English, and Italian marques. The people here are great, too. Friendly, knowledgeable... exactly what you want in a nice shop to take care of your fine motor car. ;) I didn't have an appointment, but rolled in on a random Thursday. They took my car in immediately and took care of the inspection -- and even installed that dash cam that I'd been meaning to get to but haven't because I've been too busy... Helped me out in a bind, were honest with the work and estimate. I loved how laid back the environment was and how friendly the person greeting me along with the tech I worked with was. I hope our car won't break anytime soon, but if I ever need help with anything European, Edge will be the only place I'll go. P.S. even though most of the cars in their shop are higher end, they still treated our 11 year old Audi with the same love and respect, while the repair estimate was more than reasonable.

He went over all details of their process and reviewed my expectations. Completed job showed attention to detail and that their Rhinoliner applicator took his time to do it right. I Have had both rhino and linex before. They applied Hybrid Rhinoliner which to me is closer to linex in texture and hardness than older Rhino formulas.

On the day of the install, the tech calls and said "I dont have the parts, they didn't tell me I needed them." Ok, very frustrating, but I rescheduled AND called back to CONFIRM that they knew what vehicle they were replacing. They said yes, all set. Then, on the morning of the second appointment, the tech called me and said, "Okay, so it will be $651." Yes, almost THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS more. I called the office and the guy said, "well, it's an FJ Cruiser and it needs special parts." Well no kidding, you knew that from the beginning! What an absolute joke and waste of my time.
