It just the location and anything special about the particular location that changes. I love BJ's gas stations for so many reasons with the number 1 being the cost of gas. This is an incredible perk to the membership especially if you take advantage of buying the items that actually reduce the per gallon price even further. What I save in gasoline prices more than make up for the membership costs and... I get a great cash bank bonus along with BJ rewards. It's definitely a win-win to be a member. I made the mistake of shopping after I purchased gas and both items were part of their "reduction in gas prcice" selection. The stations are spacious with an easy access wherever they're located. The long hoses make it easy now matter which side you come from. There is always an attendant on duty so if you need help, someone is close by. Another nice perk is free air. A $1.25 is not a lot for an air machine but if your uses it a couple of times a month you save yourself another $30.00. My tires always seem the need to be refilled... KUDOs to BJs for their service to the public.

Horrible customer service. There is never an attendant around to answer questions or solve…read moreproblems. The pumps NEVER have paper to print out receipts. Three days ago, when I stopped by to get gas, I scanned BJ's card and selected regular, but I noticed that the pump was charging me for premium gas. I tried to get the attendant(in his glass room) to help solve the problem or at least explain what was going on. He stared at me several times and then just turned his face away. I stopped pumping and went over to him to ask why I was being charged for premium instead of what I selected, and why there was no paper in the pump (as usual). He was extremely rude and adversarial, yelling from inside his booth that I should file a complaint with management. When I asked him--again--why the pumps NEVER have paper, he told me to look up the management's number and speak to them myself. He even refused to give me his name. I will not be giving them any more business. Even though the price is a bit lower, the operation and customer service are horrible.

Also, people who pay cash park at a pump, go to the attendant to give him money, walk back to the pump, gas up, then walk back to the attendant to get their change, the walk back to their car. Good marketing but false advertising along the highway and Horace Harding Expressway. Since I was already there, my car got a full tank of gas. I can only guess that he must have been the owner or a family member because I can't imagine anyone would intentionally hire some one to ruin their business. Now that I think about it he overcharged me as well. I have a 12 gallon tank, bought 3/4 of a tank of gas and was charged $35.20. I gave him $40. He refused all requests and threatened me.

The prices here are most times a…read morelittle lower than other locations.. they have long hoses that will reach the other side of the car if that is where you tank is location. Not usually a long wait... Remember you need your physical BJ's card to get the discount... and if you purchase items at BJ's with the gas tank sign, you save a little more. BJ's Mastercard holders will save a little more... Have a little patience when waiting and yes, in NY, you have to pump your own gas...
