He told him to go find another job, mocked him, and threatened him--saying he wouldn't like working anywhere else because they'd "force him to do things he doesn't like." The tone and words he used were demeaning, cruel, and completely inappropriate for any workplace, let alone in public. The older man looked terrified and defeated, like he had no choice but to take it. I intervened, but the abuse just continued. No one--especially not someone of that age--deserves to be treated this way. This kind of hostile, abusive behavior from a business owner is unacceptable. If this is how employees are treated, I strongly urge ARCO and the community to take a closer look at what's happening behind those doors.

Usually, it's not too busy but the area isn't good; they're a lot of homeless people around who ask for money so often it's become uncomfortable. I would not recommend coming later in the day to this location. Also, I was in a bit of a hurry today and so I went in to pay with cash since it's cheaper than using card --biggest mistake ever! As I went to join the line, there were two customers in the front who were extremely indecisive on what food to order and whatnot. I waited in line for a while just listening to all of them go on in deep conversation amongst each other and it sucked because I was noticeably JUST TRYING TO BUY GAS. When I finally reached the front, there was no apology for the wait, but nonetheless, Marianna was nice enough I suppose. I waited in line to pay for gas, and the cashier told me to wait a moment as she was counting change. Then two more customers got in line behind me, and she told them she's not selling gas right now because of a shift change. I waited for about 5 minutes before she said that she's not selling gas. I waisted a third of my lunch hour with Thai whole process - pulling in, parking (it was busy), waiting in line, just to be told she's not selling gas. I don't pay with card, I've gotten scammed too many times at a Chevron. Lesson learned, there are other gas station offers available in the area at better prices.

He then up charges me for no reason and since I needed my keys. I just paid and left furious, he's a liar and a jerk. He then tells me he can't fix it and I'll need to take it to a dealership, I went to an actual mechanic down the block and they diagnosed it for free and then fixed it for $300 and actually fixed my problem. I never have more than $20 in my bank account and I can't be over drawn and they still attempted to withdraw $100 from my account twice. However, they were successful in withdrawing $100 from my moms account. We acted fast and switched out all the cards. However today we received a phone call from the bank that someone was attempting to use my fathers cancelled card. Is inexpensive, but I would suggest using cash, because the banks are positive that are information is somehow being stolen at this gas station.
