Stopped by this ARCO in East Colton Heights for a quick fuel up both car and my belly and caffeine intake. The place was clean, but there was something about the energy that felt a bit off... like the vibe just wasn't right. The coffee was meh, definitely not up to par with what I've had at other ARCO locations. Which I know isn't saying much because all gas station coffee is trash but this one just didn't hit. The bathroom could definitely use some attention, but it wasn't bad enough to make you hold your pee until the next stop. Prices were decent, though. Overall, I've had better ARCO experiences, so I'm not sure I'd rush back to this one. read more

I'm giving this interstate gas station 5 out of 5 because I was in an emergency poop situation and they answered the call. CLEAN outside bathroom. I was shocked. Not air conditioned but had an exhaust fan. Amazing. Would totally poop here again. read more

12/24/23 I tried to pump gas via self serve pump, my debit card worked but I wasn't able to select the grade. I went to cashier who stated the system to accept debit cards wasn't working, but I could pay at her register. I replied, "why aren't any signs posted re: this issue?" "Well the homeless people remove them"! When I asked to speak to her manager, I was told, "they aren't working today b/c of the holiday"!!! I feel bad for this cashier since she has to deal with upset customers! Very poor management! read more

Don't use cash to buy gas the traditional way at this gas station because they will mess up your number, and then lie, insult you, and say it's your fault to protect their mistake. So I paid $25 in cash to buy gas on number 13 tonight. I work with children and parents for a living, so I've learned to always be clearly articulate in announcing where I want my gas money going. I said "twenty-five dollars on number thirteen please" (I didn't say the quick and casual "25 on 13"), and I waited for the lady to repeat it back to me the same way. She did. So far, so good. I went back outside and no gas came out of my pump. Then I go back into the store and I politely asked if the gas pump was broken or if maybe she forgot to press a number, because I didn't have any gas come out. She just said "Excuse me? Yes, nine ninety-five, nine ninety-five, nine ninety-five!" I thought to myself, okay, whatever, I guess nine-ninety five is her code on her computer to unlock gas on my pump or something. I didn't question her weird behavior it because she seemed busy and stressed. I go back outside, and shame on me, because guess what -- I was only able to pump $9.95 worth of gas into my truck. I go back into the store for a third time now, and I (still politely) said "Hi, I still need the other $15.05 of gas", and she proceeded to treat me like I was dumb and argue with me in front of everyone in the store. In her mind, I already pumped $15.05 of gas and I guess she thought I was trying to steal more gas or something, lol. I asked her to check the cameras, because the first time my pump was turned on was for that random $9.95 episode she gave me. She backed away from the counter and said "I'm sorry, there's nothing I can do about it, you can talk to the manager on Monday." Before I walked out, she printed an ominous receipt of $15.05 already pumped and said "See, look, you already pumped $15.05". Guess what number was on the receipt? $15.05 pumped on #14! I said "Look, see, right here, you said I pumped gas on #14, but I've been parked all this time on #13!" Her eyes widened with this sort of expression that now she realized she made a mistake and probably punched in the number wrong on her computer. At this point, in the grand world of customer service, what she *should* have said was "My apologies sir, I see the mistake now, one moment and we'll get this sorted out". What she proceeded to do instead was threaten me with "Well now I'M going to ask the manager to check the cameras on YOU, because it's always like this all the time, all the time you guys say the wrong number, every day, this always happens" and she goes on just repeating that over and over. I just quietly laughed and shook my head because I didn't want to argue with her anymore. She just looked at me at the end of her ranting and said "It's ready." I go outside and, hooray, I got the rest of my gas! If only it didn't have to be this hard to do business here. Again, don't hand them your money unless maybe you record yourself on your phone, because they'd rather insult you than admit when they've made a simple mistake. read more

On March 31-21 Wednesday At the time of 1:29 pm on pump 13 I went inside of Arco 1240 East Washington Street In Colton Ca Store number 42086 And use my Cashapp Card and told cashier to charge me $35 got my receipt and left. But later on I discover that I was charged. $70.70. Which is a fraud. I've gotten in touch with the owner Lucky and Lisa at Arco corporate headquarters. And she mentioned that she would return the $40 back to me but it's been already 4 days. This is a fraud this Arco Gas Station at store number 42086. 1240 East Washington in Colton. I located Cashapp Customer service and they explained to me that there is nothing on their end that's wrong at all. Everything is coming from Arco they are holding the money it's a fraud. And not just me having theses same problems but many other customers as well. This is a fraud Arco Gas station it needs to be stop and shut down ASAP these are hard own customers money especially in this new world we live in COVID. Times are tough. read more

I love the prices and set up of the new gas station but hate the new bad attitude having workers. Socorro is one of them. I went in to get gas and as normal with her and the other newer girl, the lines are long and it looks like Chaos. I had a scratcher to cash in along with getting some gas. I like to use Apple Pay but she said it still wasn't working, this is after at least 2 months of being down! Then I asked to cash my ticket and she said they stop taking them at 10pm. Well it was 9:43pm and only because of the slowness of them working the lines, did I get to her at 9:47pm. So I told her it wasn't 10 pm yet and she then said 10 mins before 10pm. It wasn't even 10 mins til 10pm at this point. So, why wouldn't you just say you stop taking them at a quarter til? Then when I questioned the stupidness of what she'd just told me, she got an attitude and told me, she had to do her job! Ok, well Customer Service is a big part of that and so is giving the right information so we know. This is our local gas station but if she is still there, I will have to go somewhere else. This isn't the first time she was rude. It's not what you say but the way it's said especially in Customer Service, they need to give her some classes. I loved when the Armenians ladies worked, they were very sweet and respectful. Never a problem and they fixed the Apple pay when it did get stuck. Big difference in attitudes. read more

Decent priced gas, excellent service, and the bathroom is very very clean! The restroom is located behind the store and I was terrified, I envisioned a trashy filthy restroom but was surprised when I opened the door and found what seemed to be one of the cleanest public restrooms I've ever had to use THANK GOD but mainly thank you to the ARCO employees that maintain a clean standard. read more

This one is a good one. They are clean and updated. Everything works. You get a receipt.

This morning I went to get a free coffee with my stamp card. I gave my stamp card to the cashier when I went to check out. She asked where I got my stamp card from, I told her I get it from the ampm gas stations when I get my morning coffees. She RIPPED my card into pieces and said that I can't use it! I had to pay for my coffee that should have been free and I can't even take my stamp card to a different gas station because the old lady ripped it to pieces. Bad service! Just want to let everyone know to be careful they have a older mexican lady working nights and shes either too tired or stealing from coustomers. 2 times i went in there gave her $20 left pumped my gas and only put 10. i find this ARCO to be relly out dated, dirty and not well stocked. It it not easy to go in and out of this staion, service is ok .

Please just go to the circle K down the street. I went in just to get $20 in gas. I go to this Arco every single time I get gas. Today there was a cashier that I haven't seen before but I walked up to her and asked for $20 on 16, I paid with my debit card like I usually do and I make sure to get my receipts just in case, but I guess today it paid off. I go to pump my gas and the pump isn't working. I go inside and ask the cashier why my pump isn't working. Then she goes to talk to one of the other cashiers. I sit there waiting for them to figure out the problem and finally one of the cashiers says "Ok. But let me tell you something. You need to tell us the right numbers because you told her you wanted $20 on number 6. Very rude, basically blaming the situation on me when I clearly said six- TEEN, awful customer service. She simply could have said "ohh we apologize we thought you said on pump 6, but you can catch me at the circle down the street instead from now on. read more
