He told him to go find another job, mocked him, and threatened him--saying he wouldn't like working anywhere else because they'd "force him to do things he doesn't like." The tone and words he used were demeaning, cruel, and completely inappropriate for any workplace, let alone in public. The older man looked terrified and defeated, like he had no choice but to take it. I intervened, but the abuse just continued. No one--especially not someone of that age--deserves to be treated this way. This kind of hostile, abusive behavior from a business owner is unacceptable. If this is how employees are treated, I strongly urge ARCO and the community to take a closer look at what's happening behind those doors.

I waited in line to pay for gas, and the cashier told me to wait a moment as she was counting change. Then two more customers got in line behind me, and she told them she's not selling gas right now because of a shift change. I waited for about 5 minutes before she said that she's not selling gas. I waisted a third of my lunch hour with Thai whole process - pulling in, parking (it was busy), waiting in line, just to be told she's not selling gas.
