I was greeted by two friendly individuals behind the counter upon entering the store. Now, when I think gas station bathroom, I think of the scene from Trainspotting where Ewan McGregor loses his enema and has to go diving in the toilet after it - absolutely the most disgusting area you could imagine. Sometimes I am right. This time, I was not. Shell must take great pride in the cleanliness of their facilities. On top of being more than just a room with a toilet and a sink; a room for one person, it was an actual bathroom made for multiple patrons with a urinal AND a stall! Crazy! The bathroom was very clean and stocked up. No spills, no messes, no worries of poopmonsters creeping around the toilet. After I played a few games and checked in on every social media app I have on my iPhone, I washed my hands and grabbed a coffee from the refreshment center. The inside of the station was incredibly clean and organized as well! The customer service was on top of their game as well. Those two nice individuals that greeted me when I walked in, were still running the counter, with ease and quickness! No waiting while they had a conversation about last week when Becky called off and Carla had herpes. Nope! They just focused on their job and got the customers through the line faster than I've ever experienced at a gas station. Awesome.

This review will focus on an order of a oven/microwave combo and their customer service. When our wall oven/microwave stopped working, we began shopping for a replacement that preferably could drop right in the existing opening without any cabinet modifications. We shopped all over Grand Rapids as well and we were surprised to find Costco had the exact model we were looking for at a dramatically lower price. In addition, delivery and installation was included. I was a little nervous ordering this way but went ahead. I placed the order and in less than a week, the oven was delivered followed by the installation a day later. Unfortunately the oven was defective so I had the option of a refund, replacement or a repair. Repairing was definitely not an option for us especially on a brand new oven and I didn't want to begin shopping all over so we opted for a replacement. Amazingly the team at Costco worked some kind of magic because the new oven was delivered and installed five days later. Costco communicated with me many times updating me during the process (shipped from manufacturer, arrived at Costco warehouse, earliest possible delivery, earliest possible installation, etc.) Really, their communications were extraordinary and over the top from what I expected from such a large organization. The installers who are independent contractors who don't work directly for Costco were also amazed as they do installations for other stores. They said a replacement usually takes much longer. I've long been a huge Costco fan. This experience made me an even bigger one.

There are people lined up through the store creating difficulty navigating the various aisles. Knowing the store well I zipped over to self checkout and was checked out quick.
