After the service was completed, an employee backed another customer's car into mine while it was in their care. Despite me asking to fill out an incident report (it was after 9pm and I just wanted to get home) no one from Costco ever reached out to me. I eventually had to contact their insurance provider, Gallagher Bassett, myself. While my car was being repaired, I was stuck in rentals without snow tires, I even got stuck in my own driveway in the minivan they gave me and was late for work (something that has never happened in my own car). It felt incredibly unsafe driving through the Vermont winter in those vehicles while my 4WD SUV sat in the shop due to the insurance agency's sluggishness. At one point, I was stranded for a week because the agent failed to make a rental reservation. I was told to take 6 AM Uber rides from my home in Jeffersonville to work in Burlington, which are of course, not available. I even had to call out of work one day due to lack of transportation (I was getting help from friends). When I called Costco as a last resort for help, I was promised a callback that never came. Costco's lack of communication throughout a situation THEY caused is deeply disappointing. I didn't even get to use my new snow tires when I needed them most. They have lost my trust.

The gas prices were decent enough, and the station was laid out in an organized fashion and was clean. What struck me most was the convenience store here (Maplefields). It was quite large, immaculate inside, with a huge assortment of fresh foods (sandwiches, baked items, salads) and beverages. I thought to myself, if I had to use the washroom (which, thankfully, I didn't, I wouldn't hesitate about asking to use the bathroom here. Note that I usually avoid gas station bathrooms LIKE THE PLAGUE. But here, the store was so clean and orderly, I'd use the washroom in a heartbeat if needed). I saw some beautifully packaged Vermont maple syrup on sale for a super price, and I got a few for gifts for friends back in Seattle, along with some fresh foods for the road for the kiddies and excellent coffee for myself. I made the appt and when the day came to drop it off before work it just happened to be a huge snowstorm that day. My wife was supposed to pick me up and then off to work, only she couldn't make it off of our street due to the snow and slippery conditions. Dave's guys said no problem they drove me to work! They were more than ready on that snowy day with a great attitude. Changed my belt, fixed my TPMS sensors that Firestone couldn't and did all that at a far cheaper price! Good group. It's nice to find a new place I can trust after moving far away from my home state! Thanks Dave's!

I come to this store several times a week as I usually buy sandwiches here for lunch. I used to order directly from the deli but now I just opt for the ones that are already made. The Chef Salads look good here as well so my plan is to try one this week.

They're often rude, not acknowledging customers and/or taking several minutes to prioritize other tasks while customers are waiting: today there was a line of about 10 people and they didn't seem to be in any rush. The girl with dyed red hair who works there was not wearing a mask when she slid past me in a very small aisle and was so close that her leg touched mine. They don't sanitize anything, and don't enforce customers to wear masks either. I'm surprised they've gone over a year without following any of the state-mandated guidelines and rules without getting reported.

A few of my friends rave about the coffee they get at this chain. I was amazed by the assortment of java that you can get at Cumby's, plus it's way cheaper than Dunkin! Nice flavored coffee creamer selection too if you are into that kind of thing. There were 4 different types of iced coffee, which was good to see. There is a nice assortment of healthier fast food options like yogurt, salads, parfait cups and sandwiches. There was a small selection of items like beer, wine and hard cider. Store was clean, well organized and kept up! Perfect place to grab a quick drink or snack.
