She tried again "they're buy one, get one for a dollar!" I declined again, and heard her whisper "dang it," and she looked genuinely sad... I asked if she got a kickback or something for selling candy, and she explained that the employees bonuses are based solely on how many candy bars they push, and further explained that they get a monthly "quota" they must meet as a team, and if the quota isn't met no one gets the monthly bonus, no matter how many items an individual team member sells. How much of a bonus, you may ask? $50/per employee. And the monthly candy quota? 14,000 candy bars. FOURTEEN THOUSAND. No one should be made to beg for a bonus which is essentially what this money-grubbing Corporation is forcing their employees to do. (I bought 4 candy bars.) Do better, Speedway.

First off let me just say I LOVE THE FAMILY FIRST REWARDS PROGRAM. I've been coming here for years,…read moremainly because it's close to home but also because the workers are great. The first shift guy (sorry I didn't catch your name) helping me this morning was super friendly, & very apologetic for the fact that the computers kept going on & offline. I usually pay with my card but had cash on me today, which was a good thing because the computer system was not allowing card payments. This Mobil has a great location, & they did recently update the pumps & asphalt but the inside of the store needs a face lift & the computer system needs help. Very slow & it tends to be a pain for the workers as well. Ohh & the 3rd shift crew is seriously the best, when it comes to customer service! Great job you guys.
