The calamari I had was not but don't let this fool you-it is excellent regardless. The standard Dory is also great. A lot of seafood places have soggy chips, not so here. Other places also encrust the chips with so much salt that you may die. (They do this that if you do die, they can raid your wallet before the cops come-this is my theory.) The chips are quite solid and crisp. A solid feed. Avoid death, eat here!

It is on a shocker of a corner but you can park at the back of the restaurant and walk through. Our choices tonight were fairly standard fare with no surprises or disappointments. I've never had to queue up at Thai Tonight because I feel like most of their customers are take away. So that's a plus for me! A quiet restaurant for me :) For me, everything we ordered was spot on. We always get the Pad Thai and Money Bags. Thats a must! The Green duck curry is also very well done and a regular order. So is the satay chicken.... Basically, I order similar items every time with one new addition. I tried the prawn blankets for the first time and it was very crunchy and not drenched in oil yay. If i were to compare this place to Chat Thai and Home Thai, I reckon it'd be up there! It's really just a hidden treasure waiting to be discovered :)

Pretty much Neil Perry-ed maccas. Chips are deliciously done, with a choice of normal salt, chilli salt or (curiously) szechuan pepper salt. Self serve tomato sauce, definite plus. Slightly pricey, but it's a solid burger. If it were cheaper, it wouldn't be scaled right compared to our overpriced maccas. Points off for scoops which look a little too coated with seasoning but maybe they just hadn't cleaned them yet after a long day of trade...maybe. Or is it just extra flavour? Perhaps the key point of difference at this franchise is what looks to be a side business selling anime Lego figurines and what looks like vitamin and mineral supplements. That aside, the location of this fast food option pre-movies is one of the better choices at Macquarie Park. Meaning one of the few non-Asian options. Firstly the downside is that its in Macquarie Centre. Unfortunately this place has grown 'too big' and parking somewhere remotely close and getting in is an effort. That aside its a great little store with seating that overlooks the ice skating rink. Their reuben isn't the traditional corned beef or pastrami but salted beef instead. Can't complain though - still tasted great and they sliced it nice and thickly right in front of me as they made it. Not the cheapest sandwich you'll buy - but they taste great and the servings are huge. I'll definitely be back again!
