Better known as the Coffee Cart, you know they're serious about coffee because that's all the sell and the line can stretch during peak times. Don't be put off by any queue whatsoever because as like other coffee stands, the barista boys make your order production line style meaning you'll never have to wait long. The first time I ordered from the Coffee Cart I was a little confused; there are two queues, one to make your order and the second you join just to wait for your coffee to be made. The blend they use is smoother and aimed to be palatable to a wider audience. Folks looking for that stronger, more bitter roast should look elsewhere. Their repertoire of coffee types is quite extensive and happily accommodate whatever you want, whether something with condensed milk or a custom quarter strength skinny soy double piccolo latte. While Mr FoamMakingMan will vary from hour to hour and day to day, the coffee Cafe Brioso produces is very consistent. It's located just outside the main library at UNSW and next to the library lawn. It's run by a team of around 3-5 very friendly baristas (numbers depend on how busy the place is at the time). They run the place like a production line in a factory with a person manning the cashier taking orders with the others grinding beans, pouring brews down to the last barista who pours the milk and puts the lids on the cups. The end result is not like mass produced coffee though. The taste and temperature is usually spot on (sometimes the coffee is weak and watery which is why I ranked the place with a 4 instead of a 5). I get a long black and other places around campus frequently burn the crap out of long blacks leaving them bitter, not the case here.

In the World Cup of coffee, the Coffee Championships, the two owners Chanho Hong and Nate Lee were the 2017 Australian Brewers Cup Championship third place winner and the 2017 NSW/ACT regional Latte Art Championship third place winner respectively. Pretty cool credentials when I usually get my coffee from a high school student working the summer at Starbucks.
