We dropped it off at 10:00 a.m. and when we called the next morning to pick up the vehicle the vehicle was not done. With it not being done we had to incur another day on the rental car. When we finally got to pick up our car he was still working on it and it was not done so we had to wait an additional hour at his shop. When we picked up our vehicle it was extremely dirty and wet from the heater core backflowing inside our vehicle. Our belongs from our dashboard glove box and our middle console were thrown around our vehicle in which they got dirty and wet. We had to call and message him to let him know that the glove box light was on constantly and the glove box was loose. Also our A/C unit was not blowing air out of the vent on the middle passenger side. We took it back to his shop for him to fix it however he fixed the glove box but broke the shut off switch to the a/c vent and now the vent blows air but we can not close it because he broke the lever that closes it. Our dashboard is loose and our cruise control doesn't work. We made him aware of the issues by text and voicemail message but it is very hard to get ahold of him.

They told me I had a gas leak by my rear tire and then showed me a video that looked nothing like my undercarriage. I know because I had mud all over my truck that day and the video they showed had a clean undercarriage of a compact car. He also said they couldn't fix it there, but his buddy had a garage down the street. That's a bit shady. Fast forward to last night. Since I wasn't impressed with their service I had my husband change my oil. The oil filter was cranked on so tight that it ended up breaking to come off and then drained more than half the new oil we put in it. It has cost us 3x the amount it would have cost us to change the oil. Needless to say, we are not returning.

I would not recommend doing business with Honda Group 1 aka Honda of Bay County. I have purchased 2…read morecars from the dealership and feel that I was lowballed on my trade in both times. The first car I purchased was great; just underwater. I ended up trading it in on a new 2022 model in February and in less than 5000 miles I had to replace the torque converter. After another 1000 miles it's back in the shop again with a malfunction on the camshaft position sensor. I am glad I did not purchase the warranty on it that Honda was trying to pressure me to buy since it already had a CPO warranty from the last owner which carried over and the torque converter was covered at the GM dealership. I am hoping this issue with the camshaft position sensor will be covered as well. The main issue is Honda did not do the complete inspection on the vehicle or at least the repairs needed as the stored codes are older than when Honda offered the vehicle for sale. This tells me they either didn't get the vehicle ready for sale or they ignored the codes or didn't inspect the vehicle. Now I'm about $8000 underwater on the vehicle and stuck with the repairs. I won't buy my next car from Honda after this experience. As you can see from the other reviews I'm not the only one that purchased a lemon from Honda of Bay County.
