I live right down the street from this place and I was excited because it's a new spot for Hawaiian really close to me. I always give five stars to most places. The only problem that I have with this place is their assembly line on swing shift is very unorganized. They kept mixing up orders. The ambience was OK nothing special. First time trying the food here. We ordered two combo plates and tried the katsu chicken, teriyaki chicken, teriyaki beef, and another grilled chicken (forgot the name) which were all on top of a bed of raw shredded cabbage that took up a lot of space in the container. All the proteins were good except the other grilled chicken, which was extremely dry and honestly hard to eat. Both combo plates came with two small scoops of rice and one scoop of macaroni salad. We took the food to go, and once we got home, we noticed there was no spicy mayo, teriyaki sauce, or katsu sauce we asked for. That was definitely disappointing and took away from the experience. Overall, some items were great, but the dry chicken and missing sauces were a letdown. I saw an ad on Instagram that this location was having a friends and 'ohana night where everyone gets a free mini plate so I pulled up around 6pm on Tuesday. The line was out the door, so I was scared how long the wait would be, but they were very efficient moving everyone through very quickly. They were giving out a free bottle of Teri sauce, stickers, soda, and spam musubi while we waited in line. The mini plate was pre packed without customizations, but that was fine becuase it made everything move very quickly. I will say, everything is usually super salty here, but it tastes so good and I loved how much time and effort everyone put in to having this special giveaway. I'll definitely be back! read more

This was our second time visiting this location. Our first visit was great, everyone was friendly and attentive, and the food was so good that we've been wanting to come back ever since. Unfortunately, our second visit wasn't the same experience. The service was very slow, even though there were multiple employees around and on the dining room floor. The girl who initially took our order was super friendly and attentive, which we appreciated. However, the cashier with the pink hair was not very attentive. She rang up our order and then went to the back to chat with coworkers. We ended up waiting to pay because she left and the digital payment option wasn't available at the moment. Aloha fellow Hawaiian food lovers! Me and my husband went and ordered two separate full meals which included all of the meat options. We added the steak to make sure we got a sample of everything. Every single item was absolutely delicious. The macaroni salad could have a little extra something, but it was still very good. The sauces were so good that we ended up buying two bottles of it. The service was friendly and efficient. And the store ambience was clean and inviting. Came to this location for the first time since it was just down the street from where I live. First thing I noticed was how clean the place was, then it was downhill from there. I noticed one of the workers and saw how her hair was just all over the place, while the other workers had their hair in ponytails. When I got to the ordering part, the girl with the "hair" looked like she didn't know what to do. I asked for a teriyaki chicken and proceeded to put the chicken in the to go container and closing it without even putting teriyaki sauce on the chicken. She also couldn't remember who ordered what and almost put my order with the guy in front of me until we said who had what order. Now the food. -Teriyaki chicken was too "charred" on some parts, almost burnt. -Chicken katsu looked over "fried", so I skipped that. -Kalua pig was salty and I mean SALTY -Mac Salad had too much mayo -Spam Musubi was thin and left out by the register, for I don't know how long -POG juice, pretty much the only thing I enjoyed. Owners or managers need to train the cooks to cook the food the way it should be cooked. Female workers need to at least put their hair in ponytails and pull it back somehow. If you order teriyaki, make sure the worker puts teriyaki sauce. I think I'll wait awhile before I go back again. Hopefully, they've got their workers trained better. Absolutely loved this place. From the moment we walked in, the restaurant felt so clean and welcoming. The workers up front greeted us giving it a relaxed island vibe that instantly put us in a good mood. The food was incredible, especially the teriyaki chicken. It was perfectly cooked, super tender, and coated in a slightly sweet sauce. The mac salad was ok, a lot of mayonnaise. The rice was nice and soft. You can tell everything is made with quality ingredients. I live next to the Mo'bettahs on Cactus so thats my normal location I go to. I visited this location on Lake Mead because they were offering a free mini plate & I was in the area. This location just opened & they immediately need some help. I order the Katsu chicken every time I come in to the Cactus location. Lake Mead was serving crispy, burnt, charred katsu chicken. Not just a one time batch either. Every batch they were taking it out super late to the point it was burnt & you can taste it when you're eating it. Also there Kalua pig was extremely salty compared to the cactus location. Customer service was great but their cooks definitely need an adjustment if they want to make & keep that location great. read more

The service was horrible, only 3 people working and the guy took so extremely long seriously weighing how much meat you get. They all have horrible communication with each other. I waited at the front of the line for 10 minutes while they struggled to pass food out to dashers while telling me to wait to pay for my food that was already done. I had 2 @ $3.49 a piece, not worth it. On the other hand the keiki size plate portion was substantial for the price @ $6.29. The Restaurant is very clean and appealing. The portions are generous. I was 4th in line, shouldn't have taken long, but there was only 1 person serving and it took longer than it should have. The line was getting long behind me. They were mixing up the plates in-line to check out, had to instruct which plates were mine to be sure I paid for and received my correct order. The people ahead of me where all waiting for their entrees to be cooked. If I hadn't asked about sauce, they would have forgotten. The Kalua Pig was very, very salty. Too salty. The Steak had over cooked dried out pieces in it. The Katsu Chicken was over cooked. There was not much cabbage in any of our dishes. The macaroni was good, but something was just not traditional for Hawaiian macaroni. The POG juice was nearly empty in the dispenser, so I skipped that. The customer service is HORRIBLE. A few times I have came in & there are only 1-2 people in line. The wait is so long that people next have walked out. There are always items missing. Veggies are always out. One time they told me 7 min wait. I said ok. 15 min goes by. They tell me 3 more min. A few minutes go by, they tell me 7 min. They OBVIOUSLY are lying about the wait times. How does it go from 7 min to 3 min to 7 min?!?!? I think they didn't even start. Vegetables do not take long to cook. They tell me utensils are in the bag. There are no utensils in the bag. They don't have many meat options, maybe 5 but they always have items missing. This place is poorly run & organized. You can visibly see & hear the employees struggle to coordinate m/communicate with each other. There are 3-4 employees you can see in front but service is still extremely slow.
