Cute atmosphere, friendly staff, decent eats. They have an ok Mac salad, nice sticky rice, ok katsu & teri chicken. The katsu sauce was a little spicy for me, and there was a ton of teriyaki sauce on the chicken. Nothing had the chance to be dry.

Had a friend bring this to me for lunch and was so good. Beef was tender, chicken was fresh and perfectly made.

For the entire month of JANUARY, they've been giving out FREE MINI PLATES! Just show them your coupon which can be found on IG! They give it right to you! Till Jan 31s! Yesterday they invited anyone and everyone to get free plates from 5-7pm at this location. The food is good and fresh! The staff are really nice and very giving! Big turn out! Thanks again!

First time trying the food here. We ordered two combo plates and tried the katsu chicken, teriyaki chicken, teriyaki beef, and another grilled chicken (forgot the name) which were all on top of a bed of raw shredded cabbage that took up a lot of space in the container. All the proteins were good except the other grilled chicken, which was extremely dry and honestly hard to eat. Both combo plates came with two small scoops of rice and one scoop of macaroni salad. We took the food to go, and once we got home, we noticed there was no spicy mayo, teriyaki sauce, or katsu sauce we asked for. That was definitely disappointing and took away from the experience. Overall, some items were great, but the dry chicken and missing sauces were a letdown. The cashier who took our order spoke very quietly, which made it a bit difficult to hear and understand her.

I saw an ad on Instagram that this location was having a friends and 'ohana night where everyone gets a free mini plate so I pulled up around 6pm on Tuesday. The line was out the door, so I was scared how long the wait would be, but they were very efficient moving everyone through very quickly. They were giving out a free bottle of Teri sauce, stickers, soda, and spam musubi while we waited in line. The mini plate was pre packed without customizations, but that was fine becuase it made everything move very quickly. I will say, everything is usually super salty here, but it tastes so good and I loved how much time and effort everyone put in to having this special giveaway. I'll definitely be back!

This was our second time visiting this location. Our first visit was great, everyone was friendly and attentive, and the food was so good that we've been wanting to come back ever since. Unfortunately, our second visit wasn't the same experience. The service was very slow, even though there were multiple employees around and on the dining room floor. The girl who initially took our order was super friendly and attentive, which we appreciated. However, the cashier with the pink hair was not very attentive. She rang up our order and then went to the back to chat with coworkers. We ended up waiting to pay because she left and the digital payment option wasn't available at the moment. When she came back, we let her know about the payment issue, and she almost mixed up our order with the customer next to us.

You can tell this is family owned and run, with a lot of passion and hard work put into the place. The owner is lovely and brews a mean cup of delicious Kona coffee. They do get busy (was here on a Saturday at 11 am and it was packed) and make stuff to order, so be prepared for Island Time when you dine here. Even the musubi and coffee are made to order. My only quibble was that I paid for a custard filled malasada and since they don't give it to you right then and there if you are dining in with other dishes, they let me know later they actually had run out. But they are that good. Otherwise all the food was delicious and brought my husband and I back to our last vacation there. The live music made the time fly. I recommended this place to my friends immediately. Free and plenty parking in front.

Auntie kept coming by to check in on us. You order at a walk up counter and they bring your food to you. They have a pretty extensive menu, making it hard to choose what to enjoy! We landed on poke nachos and a mochiko chicken/kalbi combo with fried saimin. Be sure to note that ADD fried saimin doesn't mean add. It substituted my rice but it's actually fine cuz who needs all that carbs anyway. The chicken was battered and fried well! The kalbi had a great marinade. The saimin had good flavor. The wontons for the poke were crispy. The fish tasted fresh. Only hope was for more fish and avocado on the nachos. Overall, ono grinds! Go try..

I was thoroughly unimpressed and my belief in these influences has worn thin. I came here for their famous beef ribs and Mac spam. Firstly, they did not have their famous ribs and from other reviews its been 2 weeks since they've had it. Fine, im not really OK with that but it is what it is bc the business cant control stock and where they have to buy it from. I got a steak and galbi plate that tasted burnt, flavorless and most of all, unlike all the videos I saw, it did NOT come "packed". Im glad it didn't anyways bc i did not enjoy the food. I also got the mac spam and a double spam misubi. Sooooooo much rice and the double spam really equals to one regular spam size at other hawaiian places. The Mac spam was very bland and both the spams not worth its price. The inside was hot and looked old. The music was cool and the cashier, a young woman, looked severely depressed and unenthusiastic. I didn't like the vibe, the cashier was unfriendly, and it was not worth the wait. I give honest reviews. I dont get paid and dont make exaggerated videos.

From their iconic fried chicken and Zip Pacs to saimin, hearty plate lunches, and those seriously onolicious Napoleon desserts... everything under one roof and consistently satisfying. I was having a bit of trouble logging into my Zipster account, but the ladies at the counter were so kind, patient, and helpful in getting it sorted out quickly. Frank's macaroni salad wasn't the absolute best I've had, but it was genuinely good--surprisingly better than Zippy's, a true Hawaii staple. The loco moco was excellent: the eggs were perfectly cooked, bright yellow and so delicate they looked like they'd break if you stared at them too long. You get two juicy hamburger patties and two generous scoops of rice, making it easy to stretch into two solid meals. The spam musubi was fresh and still warm (we ordered right at opening at 11 AM and picked it up by 11:30). They added a touch of teriyaki sauce between the rice and spam, which I'm usually not a fan of, but it actually worked really well here. The salty, grilled spam still shone through. The spot itself is a classic Hawaiian BBQ cafe--simple, no-frills, with a mix of sit-down tables and to-go boxes flying out the door. You could tell they had just opened but were already deep into the lunch rush. Even so, service was impressively smooth. We were quoted about 20 minutes, but I walked in, hit a short line, and was back out the door with piping-hot food in under five minutes. I'll definitely be coming back for some Hawaiian comfort food.

His cousin couldn't stop raving about the food, so we decided to check it out for dinner last night. We ordered the Crackhead Chicken and Da "OG" Beef to share, and I also got a Spam musubi I had been craving. The musubi was HUGE and really hit the spot. We also ordered a side of Crackhead Chicken without the spice for our 1 year old, and she LOVED it. Normally she throws her food, but this time she actually ate it and kept making the cutest "yummy" faces the whole time. The moment I took my first bite of chicken, my reaction said it all. The flavor was INCREDIBLE! It had a perfect balance of sweetness from the coconut and a nice kick from the spices. Everything worked so well together, and the chicken itself was unbelievably moist and juicy. I also loved that the meat was served over the rice, allowing for all the juices to soak in. The rice was soft, flavorful, and just as satisfying. The macaroni salad was hands down my favorite compared to any Hawaiian BBQ spot I've tried. I also had a few bites of the beef, which had an amazing flavor and just the right amount of char to elevate it even more. The only thing that didn't stand out to me was the coleslaw, but we found out later that you can substitute for extra macaroni salad for an additional 50 cents. We will definitely do that next time! Overall, we had a fantastic experience and will absolutely be back whenever we are in the area. One quick note for parents: there are no high chairs available, and we even searched the entire food court. Since it's inside a casino, it's understandable, but just something to keep in mind.
